Have you ever considered the fact they're booing just the actual pointless gesture because it's nothing to do with the race of the players or even football & people are fed up of seeing it? Hence why they're cheering Dabo etc - has all the virtue signalling taking the knee nonsense actually made a difference to racism?

One of the many positives of footballers taking the knee is that it’s outed the really thick people in our society, so give yourself a pat on the back

My trouble is with I’m all of this is when Prem league players start actively saying they won’t take the knee anymore sends a message it’s losing its gesture. However I would never condemn booing people taking the knee. But I expect this to fizzle out rightly it wrongly. Maybe w one though

Millwall were formed of East End dockers who were major contributors to the formation of the Labour Party and took part in The General Strike which was about as close as the country ever got to a full socialist revolution.

Proper abandoned their roots (which they pretend to be so proud of) there.

Don't be silly, he once sat next to a black guy at school so can't be labelled as that.

to be fair to him I don't think for one minute he is, but if he says he isn't he will expect people to accept that so why can't he accept the explanation of the players he claims to support as to why they take the knee.

To be fair they were probably as racist as the Nazis

Yeah but have you ever considered the fact I'm making up on the spot to excuse scumbags while throwing in lazy terms like woke and virtue signalling and it's health and safety gone mad

This isn't good. The National Police Chiefs Council's football lead wrote to all 92 clubs offering to work with clubs and players against online racist abuse.

Of the 92 only 49 have said they are interested and even worse only 8 clubs have actioned anything. Figures for the PL are even worse only 3 saying they are interested and none having actually taken up the offer to date.
