We should really be trying to win the match vs Blackburn away considering:
a) Brereton will be missing.
b) Their form has been up and down lately and they look kind of ripe for the taking.
c) It would be sweet revenge for the heavy defeats last season.

How does Viktors call up affect this, is he in the same situation as Brereton in having to isolate on his return or will that not affect him.

Moore

Dabo Hyam Fadz JCS Kane

Kelly Hamer

Allen Ohare

Gyok

Same sort of idea as blackpool away with those front 3. Harsh to leave Sheaf out but for me Hamer has to play and away from home/at home to the better sides we need Kelly as his positional sense to cut out opposition attacks is second to none

If we play the box Allen and O’Hare have to be the 2 behind Gyökeres. You don’t get the best out of Hamer there.

Hamer on the bench , need to learn to cut out the stupid bookings where he can. We just beat favourites for the league, why change it? Shirts theirs to loose now

Thought Godden did well and would be unlucky to be dropped.

But we have to change the system, our away form is appalling and we need to try something different (which i think MR will)

Back to the box and 1 up top (which gave us our only win away), give us more fight in midfield

I wouldn’t say our away form is appalling apart from last Wednesday but it needs to be better Need to get more clinical when on top. If Robins stays with two up top and five across the back it’s then a three man midfield between O’Hare, Kelly, Hamer, Sheaf, Allen all playing well most games, who’d be a manager.

Allen and Hamer have been fantastic when they have been our midfield (apart from Luton) they both bring a much energy to the side, and my slight concern was whether with Sheaf and Kelly would we miss that dynamism and energy. But it showed that we may lose some Flair but we gained a lot of discipline with Kelly and Sheaf.

We have 4 very good options for midfield, an area most of us, including myself were concerned about in pre season and felt we definitely needed someone else in, but the reality is they are all looking very good and each offer something slightly different.

For Blackburn I think Kelly starts and perhaps wouldn't be surprised to see Hamer in for Sheaf.

2 goals in 5 games and only 4 points, relegation form, just think we need to change what were doing to force an improvement.

Appreciate that the performances havent been that bad, i have full faith in MR to make the right choice though, as you say, rather him than me!!!

For me:

Moore
Hyam - McFadz - JCS
Kane - Hamer - Kelly - Dabo
Allen - O'Hare
Gyokeres

Let's see if we can actually make the box work this season, now the lads are playing with more confidence.

Maatsen is suspended and no Kelly or Godden glad you ain’t the manager.
You’re fast becoming the most clueless poster on this forum. Shmmeee was on about the formation. I agree that we need to be more conservative away from home and play the box. Shmmeee is spot on with this observation. I’ve never seen you make a valid point about tactics.

So it’s tactical to leave out two of our best players from Saturday. Let’s see how tactical our manager is.

We will rotate players to suit the opposition and to rest people when necessary. He might go with Kelly and Hamer again at Blackburn for all we know
