I disagreed with the some of the opinions on here about the performance of the team. The Bright comment was sarcastic. No one in the team ripped up any trees (including Bright).. but no one was dogshit either. It’s just the usual bollox spouted on every single match thread (present company included).

I think we are currently in a very fortunate position with players like Bright. The team is doing so well that we're not desperately needing someone like him to break through and change our season.
If he or any of the others smashes it and forces there way into the first team then fantastic!

It was a decent game
A lot of our players started very well and we played some excellent football
Too many faded as the game went on though
Honourable exceptions included Ngandu, Rose, Reid and goalkeeper Tyler

The problem with Bright though is that he has the potential to really influence these kind of fixtures & stake a claim but is happy to just coast through doing the absolute minimum.

Would be nice to see him trying, passes the ball to their striker drops his head and walks away...how about trying to win the feckin thing back...he really needs to sort himself out he is a man/boy totally defeated atm

I watched bits and pieces. Bright was average, not dogshit like some are saying. Ngandu impressed me the most to be honest. He could do with a league 2 or league 1 loan

I just don't get what you were going for, you came in to flag your moral superiority when nothing really too outrageous was said. The first team players were mildly disappointing as they should stick out like a sore thumb. The Bright stuff, sure some go a bit OTT with it but he's brought that on himself really. It is what it is at this point until he proves people wrong.

No, I don’t think he’s shite. He wasn’t shite today but he wasn’t great either. I’d say for whatever reason, it looks like he’s not applying himself enough to get into the 1st team picture. As I’ve always maintained, if he continues to coast (or fuck around) I’m sure he’ll be booted.
