Let's be honest, people are always bang on when they tell you what type of person is involved in these protests .. Mag to grid , get rid

women who's husband earns 170k a year can afford to sit in the road and disrupt the lives of people many of whom will be struggling to just get by View attachment 22199

Not surprised in the slightest.

Nah , easier to make life hell for normal people
Having lived just off the M25 for several years there's jams pretty much every day, unless you're at the front of the queue or see it on social media you'd barely even register it as being any different to every other day of the year.

I use it every day and you're wrong mate. It's very noticeable, and very annoying.

Yes it’s very noticeable when it’s happening

Just get water cannons on them and film it.
It’ll be like it’s a knockout, just need Stuart Hall commentating… now what happened to him?

Day 13, still going on. Where's our police, lock the fuckers up!

Try and watch these videos without your piss boiling!

I think they're fucking idiots, but boil my piss?
I can think of dozens of things going on in this country that are far fucking worse at the moment.

You’d have said the same to the suffragettes

The suffragettes weren’t protesting for a vote in China - I’m not being funny but if you believe these attention seeking morons are comparable to suffragettes and other such groups you are deluded. If I was the government I’d give them a one way ticket to Beijing and see how they get on

Yesterday morning I sat in a queue for 2 hours because of a horrific accident. Completed understandable and not one part of me was hacked off.
The day before, I was stuck in a queue for 3 hours because of some tosspots sat in the road. That absolutely boiled my piss mate. Sometimes that 3 hours is the difference between me getting home to see my family and having to stay the night out in a shitty cab, eating shitty food and shitting in a bush. When you're in that situation not a lot seems worse man.

Is there anything you feel strongly enough about to take non violent protests about?

The irony of calling someone a moron before coming out with some nonsensical shit about a one way ticket to Beijing.

Not particularly no. Does that make me a bad person?
My life revolves around my family mate, that's it. Probably quite a selfish view of the world, but that's me man.

Blocking ambulances classes as violent.

This whole "they are protesting so can do what they want" stuff is nonsense.
It’s not violent it’s unacceptable of course and ordinarily blocking a motorway you wouldn’t but I agree unacceptable. I’m not saying do what you want as it’s a protest but I am saying it’s a non violent protest about something that really matters and the government need to do something about it.

Like I say I fear many people would have said this about the great movements of the past. I agree something must be done but don’t let it impinge on my normal life please

I’m so pleased to clamber on the back of giants who've sacrificed many things for the freedoms I have now.

Seriously this stuff really matters or is that the point you all think fuck it someone will solve it and it will all be ok. Tell that to those in natural fires or the islands of the Phillipines disappearing from sight

Loaded , middle/upper class snob with nowt better to do ,is the point

Well yeah, activists tend to be people with time on their hands. Just don’t like it when people bring up peoples spouses. You can’t choose who you love.

the suffragettes had a purpose to change something they don’t
So you wouldn’t have said oh I wish these women would stop causing a nuisance on the pavements and messing up sporting events with their petty nonsense. It’s only in hindsight we see them for what they were. Brave individuals breaking the Status quo and making a stand for something

Honestly Nick if you’re really worried about ambulances not being able to get somewhere you’re going to lose your shit when you learn how much the government has cut their budgets by meaning that there’s a staffing crisis that’s only getting worse and response times to get worse every year. Maybe not.
