Saw Ben Stevenson playing for Forest Green earlier, they lost at home to Swindon. He's a tidy player but doesn't impose himself on games enough.

He didn't play badly tbh, just doesn't apply himself as much as he could.

I watched it - expected him to have more impact than he did. Couldn't work out what Forest Green's tactics/shape were. Very disappointing, and reminds me how far we've come. The idea that they were top, and we ended up 6th in that division only a few seasons ago is scary,, as we are now miles apart from anything on display there.

I watched a Joey Barton pre-match interview yesterday where he just rambled on and on like the Grandpa from The Simpsons. The Bristol Rovers fans think he's got a screw loose.

Tom Bayliss started for Wigan tonight having not been in the squad for weeks. Not good reports from the Wigan fans, seems to have all gone wrong for him since he left us. It’s a real shame as Preston looked like a good move for him at the time.

Easy to day now of course, but I honestly felt like we did very very well out of the Bayliss deal. Never really got the hype

It’s another Shipley scenario, excellent in league two, ok in league one, shite in the championship.

Lee Burge saved the first penalty in the shootout against QPR last night. He is second choice for Sunderland these days.

Bleak one this, but Aron Gunnarsson has been accused of raping a woman in 2010 while on international duty with Iceland.

"In June this year, Bergsson and other senior KSI employees were informed that an Icelandic woman had accused two national team players – the captain Aron Gunnarsson and defender Eggert Jonsson – of raping her at a hotel in Copenhagen in 2010 while away on international duty.

Well-placed sources have told The Athletic that KSI board members were only told about those 2010 claims in the wake of Arnarsdottir speaking out. Angry and upset, the KSI board issued a statement.

...

Gunnarsson has issued a strong denial, which his lawyer referenced when contacted by The Athletic. “He (Aron) categorically denies ever having violated anyone, anywhere or anytime,” Einar Oddur said. “It is important to note that at the time Aron made his statement to Icelandic media there were only recent rumours circulating. At no point since 2010 has Aron been notified that he was being investigated and he has never been given the formal status of a suspect.

“We only learned recently that there was in fact an accusation back in 2010 and that the police saw no grounds to take it further, all of this happening without Aron’s knowledge. The police generally decides independently whether to investigate and in continuance send the matter to a prosecutor.”

Gael Bigirimana with a hospital pass playing for Glentoran that leads to a goal for Colerain.

The Glentoran keeper then attacks the player who lost the ball from Bigi’s poor pass. Madness The lad should’ve done better though.

I’d have loved it even more if the ref had also sent the bloke off for throwing the ball at the keeper to try and stop him.

Wigan top of League 1

I set a precedent when I said Walker never smiled and this forum has never let me forget it. But in fairness, he never said he did.

Considering the quote above the pic, Bayliss looks absolutely gutted to be at Wigan. He really must be enjoying his football ??!! 😖
