We are a small club, apart from one trophy,we've won sweet fa.
Not exactly true, but that never seems to bother you.
Also, if we are a small club, what are most of the clubs we will be playing this season?

Also, I do like the Manure and Chelski "fans" that have told me, "I can't watch the big games, the tensions too much for me" :jerkit:
You mean they like those clubs. They can name players at those clubs. They like to watch those teams win. If not then in what way do they support those teams? Watching them on TV only is not supporting them to me.
I've never been to an England game but consider myself a fan, I've not missed an England game On the Telly since 96 and have had every shirt in about the last 15 years
Exactly and I wouldnt say that makes you any less of a fan. Its very easy for people to call themselves proper supporters when you live within 1 mile of the ground and are used to buying a ticket for 50p and half a bag of chips but its not quite so simple for everybody. I know people who are real fans of big clubs and have never been to a game and I wouldnt dare say they arent real supporters.
Hats off to CCFCWAY
But seriously, all Man U fans not from Manchester and are glory hunters :jerkit:
A fan and a supporter are different. A fan (definition - devoted admirer, enthusiast) would be what somebody would be classified as for watching England passionately from their sofa. A supporter (definition - to sustain, assist) is somebody who actively spends time and money to travel to watch and support their team from the stands.
Dont call them Manure. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and presume you dont know the history of the word but trust me when I say its in poor taste.
What are you going on about?
I've supported Cov since i was about 10 (properly that is, for the first 10 years of my life i kinda followed them on the off) and i've gone to 6 games (Leicester & Man U away, Chelsea x2 (FACup) & Milwall Home). Yeh thats not a lot of games considering ive been a City supporting for nearly 19 years but i have followed them religiously on the radio or on the net when ive not been near a radio. I also try to catch any live televised games at a pub in town.
Not to have a go.. but 6 games in 19 years, when your location is Coventry..
People can use whatever terminology they like but the point remains the same. Is someone who doesnt go to England games not an England supporter? Are they less of a supporter than me? I would say no. There is more than one way to skin a cat, as they say.
No they are not a supporter if they dont go to games they are a fan. Did you even read my post?
Sbruus If your in Norwich we should travel down to games together ! I'm in Kings Lynn !
I don't agree with you one bit here.
I 'support' my team where ever i am! Don't have to be at a match to support them.
I could be on the beach or at work but ill still be on my phone checking to see how the games progressing.
If you relegate everyone who doesn't come to the games to 'fans' then you should take everyone who lives in a different country, everyone who can't afford to come to the games, everyone who has a serious disability that does not allow them to go to matchs and put them all into that little catagory of yours.
Your saying because you go to matches and they don't your better than them, even though you don't know them and have no idea about their personal circumstances.
You know mine because i've just posted it up as an example of the things that can get in the way of being able to attend matches.
Some Cov fans could have Cancer for God's sake and you'd think the demote their support of our football club just to puff up your own sense of self worth even though the illness could kill them...
I think you need to consider the whole situation, bones and all before you make statements like that....
--------------------------
You can call them supporters or fans....whichever floats your boat and makes you feel good about yourself but in the end what matters is that we all follow Coventry City and we all want to see them do well this season!
What catagory you place us in doesn't mean shit when you look at it in this way!
I seen a survey today on football clubs and their fans only 8% of Manchester united fans live in the Manchester area
No they are not a supporter if they dont go to games they are a fan. Did you even read my post?
