Highest infection rate in the world, largest death rate in Europe. We've had 40K+ cases for the last five days in a row and today the highest daily death rate since March.

Is it just me or are the Government totally silent on this? There's no messaging, no press briefings, nothing. Walking around and going in shops I am one of the few people to still wear a mask. The majority think it's over, but it seems to me that is far from true.

It just doesn't fit in with Boris's boosterism, Torchy. It's a simple as that imho. He can't bear a bad news story unless it's something he can blame on someone else. There's never been a PM (or cabinet) less fit for office.

We may or may not have to learn to live with Covid, but there's no excuse for the lack of leadership on taking simple, basic, precautions. It's madness.

Absolutely. Simply reinforcing the message would probably save hundreds of lives, but he'd rather pacify his back benches than save lives.
