Crowd trouble (7 Viewers)

They’ll probably cut the allocation

Considering how small their crowds have dropped to, I'm sure they'd prefer to sell tickets to us.

It’s on Facebook now it looks like he kicked the Derby fan and it seemed more of a push over the chairs where as the previous Lone Ranger definitely threw punches. It looked like the police were letting him burn himself out and doing his work before picking him off.
He gets a body jab as the county fan falls over

Today I saw 3 Derby fans ejected and 1 city .

There were alot of bottles being thrown into the away end .

The answer for me is to reduce away capacity to 3 k maximum and then we are further apart

That's not the answer. Every other football ground across the country has smaller segregation than us.

Realistically, there were 4k Derby fans and not one got through the line.

I hope not - we need the money. Away fans generally help the atmosphere too (even if today it was crap).

Tomorrow the biggest game in English football, one of the fiercest rivalries, will take place between United and Liverpool and there will be about 4 columns of seats segregation.

Fuck knows why two blocks at the CBS isn't enough?

They didn't really try. The only lad who really tried on either side got through. Fairplay to him but I think they might throw the book at him.

The funnelling of fans with those absolutely ridiculous fences to keep us apart from away fans, is only effective if the stupid pricks managing crowd safety don’t let the away fans just walk round the back of the fences on the road and then charge the home fans.

It was absolutely pathetic crowd control of the away fans to just let them out to meet us head on, charging an overwhelmed police line and throwing missiles whilst Cov stewards hid in the fenced off area, and disgracefully tried to get the Police onto us as we tried to take a fence panel out to get away from the trouble.
Total disgrace.

Apparently the police released him without charge according to someone related to him. I’m sure the club will ban him though.

Definitely gonna get a ban.

Even defending yourself near the ground can result in a ban, so to go over to their fans will definitely be a ban.

Was only saying before the game if we ever get to the premier league for big games we will need to have less segregation as it's wasted money!! I blame the police for not getting into position anywhere near quick enough. Liverpool vs Utd they will be in place for the whole game.

It's a wider point but stewards in my experiance are poorly paid and poorly trained members of the public who operate on behalf of some private security company. While they deliver a service that is compliant with legislation it is not very effective but is very profitable for their bosses.

It’s a bit different for us though because At united it’s impossible to get tickets so people who want to turn up and have a scrap can’t get a ticket whereas at our games (some) people who want a scrap (saying this as a sth in block 15 myself) just buy a ticket elsewhere and go to block 14 looking for trouble. Just need better stewarding imo

Exactly. The lad in the tracksuit probably hasn't been this season before.
