It's not that long ago that many thought that Godden and Walker would-be the golden couple. I'm not sure that's still the most popular opinion.

All of our strikers have different qualities and there are different facets to a striker's skill. You can't pick one quality and use that to prove one is better than the others. Walker is probably best at converting half chances in the box but someone has to feed that chance to him. Gyokeres challenges the defenders and make's them fight for the ball. Walker doesn't fight for the ball. That was very noticeable today after the substitution. The Derby defence won back possession every time.

yep - the thing is I never actually berate players really when at games - sometimes obviously you get a bit angry at specific things - I doubt I’ve abused biamou once at a game. The abuse Walker, sheaf and Kane get around me is terrible. Walker gets dogs abuse.
Kane was added to morin hitlist before playing a game too. Its all very odd. I think he's another good player.

Godden was late gaining fitness after surgery on his foot you fucking melt. It took a few games for him to even make the bench.

How’s Nick ?
You really are a very strange and very angry individual. I honestly think you should see someone, actually feel bad even taking the piss out of you

The second walker came on some bellend behind us started calling him lazy as he was running onto the pitch it's laughable and sheaf got similar treatment even though I thought he was pretty good today and certainly better than dabo who people were creaming themselves over whenever he touched the ball

Is that what he’s on about? 😂

At least PVA and Us don’t run off and get a new identity when they lose the argument. Pair of clueless fuckwits but not cowards

Walker is ok but if we could get our money back in January or in the summer I would let him persue his career somewhere else.

If we have ambitions to jump another level he won't cut it !

We’re not at another level though, we can’t exactly be going out and buying Premiership quality strikers at this point can we.. I doubt any of them would “cut it” at another level to be honest

I'd hope its not the reason, Stern John certainly had to put up with the same crap so you could argue it looked a bit dodgy... until Sheaf came along, that bloke puts up with pure shite too.

Gets taken off when he's having a decent game, Walker dropped after scoring twice, Rose dropped from the whole squad. Robins by his own comments made mistakes on Wednesday, perhaps he needs to make better use of the wise heads he's got around him for some different perspectives.

Well Hull is massive and there's some big decisions to be made. Rose only seems to play on JCS side when JCS is out. Seems unfair and could/should get a chance to start in Hyams spot soon. Also maybe a chance to rest Dabo who's form has dipped and give Kane a chance?

No chance you could pick most of the team now

Moore
Dabo
Hyam
Fadz
Jcs
Maatseb
Sheaf
Hamer
Ohare
Gyokeres
Then godden Walker or walker

Weeks rest that will be the team

Hull has to be 3 points, no excuses for that one if we want to finish minimum top half.

There’s a run of 6 really tricky fixtures coming after the international break.

Sheffield United (A)
Birmingham (H)
Bournemouth (A)
WBA (H)
Huddersfield (A)
Stoke (H)

I would start Gyo on his own, Allen and O'Hare in behind with Hamer and Sheaf the defensive pairing. Dabo against Hull I'm fine starting but if Maatsen is having a wobbly stick Dabo on the left and bring on Kane.

We should have more of the ball anyway and this should exploit that further. Hyam did contribute to the goal but all round he was good in my view, Rose is no more or less error prone. Fine starting with either

A point a game would be a decent return from that

I thought robins got the change wrong personally. Waghorn would of been a better option as I personally think he works harder and defends better from the front. We look knackered today and Walker isn’t that type of player to close down rapidly. Walkers a box player and I just don’t think he fits robins style of play at this moment. That said, why bring him in? I thought it was as a strange substitution.

Allen is another who probably deserves more game time than he's been getting recently, given how well he did to play himself back into contention.

You are probably right, Robins is stubborn and not likely to change it despite the fact the system has continually failed away from home.

Er no. You’ve not shown goals per minute in open play just some wile add up

Despite the fact I've not got a side in the Godden/Walker debate can't let that go.

How many times have you dismissed goals per minute as a meaningful metric in other debates, notably the Ponticelli one, and now claim "but what about goals per minute from open play" when it suits your argument.

Godden’ start was correct, won and scored the penalty, unlucky not to have a 2nd. Robins knew the team was tired from the 2 away trips, and Walker started both. Today was a perfect game for Allen’s energy, and Kane should of got the nod over Dabo for me.

So did Fadz, who's a lot older and played more regularly.

So did Gyo despite carrying an injury.

It's not like Walker is renowned for running his arse off either and tiring himself out.

So if you're using the number of games and tiredness you've got to ask how come other players weren't rested.
