Who have struggled to find anything positive about the budget to the extent of having Ed Sheerens diet on the front page instead.

Ill await the detail….not from The Sun obviously. Sounds like he’s chucking a few quid around. The reduction in UC taper makes sense, should’ve been sorted ages ago

Got to love the chutzpah of the Tory spin machine

*raises tax take to highest since the war*

“Hey guys this means well be able to cut taxes soon!”

*cuts every departmental budget, then put then back to below where they started*

“We’re raising departmental budgets!!”

Not just pissing on you and telling you it’s raining, but asking you to be grateful for the free shower.

Yep!

I saw something online which mocked the speech as every announcement was accompanied by 'this is the biggest increase in funding for a decade'. So all they're doing is admitting they've done fuck all for the last ten years

One of the BBC reporters, not sure who I missed the beginning and didn't recognise the voice, said on the radio that this is the result of campaigning in the last election. Seems people will quite happily dismiss failings of recent Conservative governments with the promise of changes from a 'new' Conservative government.

In PMQs Johnson took credit for cutting CO2 in half since 1990, so he’s simultaneously taking credit for New Labour and Tory govts while pretending he’s a brand new govt.

We've recruited 11k 'extra' police officers - though we're still 30k officers and support staff lower than when we came to office in 2010.

And then at the end of it all…

I got through passport control at Birmingham airport in 10 minutes a few weeks ago compared to 45 minutes for British passport holders. 👍🏼

i'm not sure whats more pathetic......people getting wound up by some supermarket marketing blunder (whcih they've since scrapped) or those who threaten to boycott the shop over it, or those who post it on a football forum as if it were a reflection of our wider society.....

tbf, that is pretty terrible labelling. May as well have labelled the chicken itself as not Thai.

Sadly it is a reflection of a big chunk of our society.

Also this is not the football section of the forum.

So people who shop at Aldi are tramps in your eyes? Classy.

Pretty insulting calling people without a home tramps?
