Because MR never uses his squad. He didn't last season either then moaned when we were knackered

There's no depth of quality in the squad, that's why he can't use it.

They gave us the ball over the top, why not just get Walker on after the hour and try a few. We weren't going to out football them. Jones I'd have put on for O'Hare to try and get a few shots away, Allen left a big hole when he was off. Weird sub.

Well played Swansea but we can't afford to keep letting JCS play like that. Don't care if he is our only left footed defender, that is two shocking performances now that have really cost us.

Gyokeres looking like last season now. Crazy not to give Walker longer.

That should be the last time we see Jones in the league this season. Anonymous. Have to question Robins tonight his use of the bench was awful

Undone by a very poor start. Surprisingly looked nervy in the first 15 minutes and just too hesitant. Can't fault their endeavour but have to make better use of the ball. Clarke-Salter was woeful but improved after the break. O'Hare typified this. Lost the ball more than he used it well. Really needs a break I think and make an impact from the bench.

Really disappointing result and far too passive second half, fancy leaving it til the 89th minute to bring a striker on for a completely anonymous Godden.

I don't really buy the "Swansea are really good" stuff, we have just got too many players not at the races. They looked very vulnerable yet our final ball was atrocious, players look tired yet the squad is not being used in any way.
Agree with first half of your post. But Swansea were good... and they only have to play as well as we test them. Which we didnt really do.

Tough lesson from a very good footballing team. We got a little disjointed with our pressing at the end. Great start overall but we need a player or two in January if we can move one or two on.

How on earth can you blame Jones for that. 20 minutes and if Gyokeres had passed he might have got the equaliser

On a side note this poor run of performances and a slide drop off in Gyos performances has coincided Waghorn being missing. I'd be interesting to see Gyos strike rate with Waghorn vs with Godden.

They gifted us chances which were met with the likes of O'Hare tamely passing it towards goal.

Huffed and puffed but aside from Hamer the use of the ball is really poor in the final third. O'Hare I find infuriating at times. I lost count of the amount of times his execution of a pass let us down tonight.

There's no depth of quality in the squad, that's why he can't use it.

He had Walker on the bench but didn't bring him on until the very end. Kane can offer a better delivery from the flanks. Sheaf can be a bit hit and miss but normally plays ahead of Allen.

He had options on the bench that were no worse than who was playing and if someone's having an off day give them a chance to make the difference.
