CCFC are changing from an appearance bonus system to a system that rewards success, do you agree?
Fisher: "Everyone connected with the club knows that our budgets have been slashed because of relegation. However, this is as much about creating a culture that motivates success not mediocrity.
The club paid out the thick end of £1 million in bonuses last season – in a year when we were relegated. We feel this is not acceptable and had to change.
The players have responded in engaging in mature sit down discussions. The overall bonus pool this season is projected to be higher than the bonus monies that were paid-out last year but with one significant difference – it requires success to trigger the bonuses which we think is only right and proper and I am sure the vast majority of supporters would agree with that. We are not going to tolerate mediocrity or, indeed, reward it."
