The thing is city are saying we have to slash wages as our income and budgets have been cut ... Well maybe the players also had budgets which have now obviously been slashed.. Yes maybe they should not have bought new audis but they had a budget and could afford it .. Now being held to ransom

In the real world a budget is usually made up with a basic wage, not including bonus payments. If they're stupid enough to make a budget on both then more fool them. Why should they be given extra for failure?

The contracts are being honoured. If the club chooses not to play somebody in order to avoid the appearance bonus, it's not dishonouring the contract.

Bully boy tactics? Christ on a bike... If what you say is the case then surely clubs shouldn't offer players new contracts half way through and fans shouldn't then moan and complain if players run those contracts down and leave, should they?

This club has been relegated, we have no money. Fans say "I'm not going until SISU go" so our income is dropping. The players who played a massive part in getting us relegated shared ONE MILLION POUNDS in bonuses between them. I cannot see how any rational fan would think they deserved it.

If we get promoted, then the lads that stayed after last year, for whatever reasons deserve all the bonus they can get. I just want to see passion for the shirt not for the £.

A nice Sentiment smiley, but one that only exists in sky Blue Folk Lore i'm afraid.
Its highly unlikely the motorway networks, are jammed with footballers converging on the Ricoh, seeing the Sky blue shirt as some kind of Holy grail.
The simple reality is, they are out of work, out of contract, and need a job, this fact shouldn't see them giving less than 100% for the club, but nothing motivates like money for a professional Footballer, so the bonus system should be changed to reward wins, goals and points, rather than appearances, if a player has an exceptional game, reward him, nothing wrong in that.
A long time ago, a man called Jimmy Hill had players dying for the shirt, a lots got to change, on and off the field, for that to happen again.

Are you still going on about that? In the world of analysis you take all the facts at your disposal and arrive at a conclusion. Transfers are not undisclosed to the revenue as that is illegal and the website used the information available to create a value on the transfers of each player.
Do you ever look at a weather forecast to see what the next day brings if you are going on holiday or do you just not bother? Remember they are forecasts based off information.

I don't know what your response to this note will be - but I can forecast it based off you previous meaningful posts....
