Not impressed with Preston never have been, never really liked the managers attitude either. Westley, Davis, Neil and Grayson are not my idea of good managers, the fact they always beat us no matter how they play is another thing I don't like about them. But it's my opinion on them that's all.

Thought at time it was a red (sky blue tinted specs) as it was a lunge from behind. Thought ref would only give yellow and pleasantly surprised when he held up the red. On replay I still think a red…player was not in control and could have caused serious injury.

Same here. I commented on the match thread saying that wasn't a read but looking at it back he tried to kick maatsen with his studs and it was relatively high too. Wasn't a case of just tripping

and if you look carefully both his feet were off the ground as he lunged to tackle/trip or whatever you call it! he was not in control

Worst tackle I ever had on me was exactly the same, except the bloke landed on my achilles (ironically my teammate was a Blues fan and went ballistic with the player) . The key bit for me was that he didn't clip him from the side, or tap him on his heel, he lunged at him and was out of control. He had no idea which part of him he was going to catch and therefore it was reckless and rightly a red.
