What's your Christmas meat setup? When I was a lad we'd just have turkey. With me at the cheffing wheel we are usually gammon and turkey.

I'm one who occasionally seeks out meat alternatives, any good ones for Christmas?
We get a nice beef rib joint from a local farm shop.

I see Sainsburys are bringing out a turkey free crown and a ham free gammon joint. Thay look really good, but expect for the photos they are clay models with good paint finishes.

Yeah, I don't think Christmas is a time of year I can probably do away with the meat as the actress said to the Bishop.

I’m in the galley this year

Turkey
Sprouts
Roast spuds
Carrots and parsnips mashed together
Pigs in blankets
Home made stuffing
Yorkshire puddings

The girls want prawn cocktails too

And I’m doing a trifle , got to sort me parents dinner out too. I suggested they come to ours for dinner but said it’s easier for them if I cook it and bring it down as they don’t want to go out .

If you can get one, a turducken.

I thought this was a setup for a joke but had Google and I've never tried one of those bird in a bird things. You rate it then?

Really good if you can get one, the flavours become a bit different to how each meat tastes on their own. Bit hard to find though

Having duck again this year. Missus doesn't like turkey. And like Sky_Blue_Daz above, I make my own stuffing. Got a lovely little herb garden with lots of sage growing. Dead easy to make! Trouble is, with it being just me and the missus, I always make way too much of everything and end up eating the same for Boxing Day!
I do enjoy a drink at Christmas though. Probably too much, but I honestly can't remember the last time I was ever the slightest bit drunk. Bloody years ago. Somehow, doesn't affect me in that way!

Queen - Thank God it’s Christmas.

That’s probably me being biased towards Queen though.
Definitely one of my favourite Christmas songs as well. Under-rated and not played enough on radio.

Still behind me - 75th. What magic you talking about?

Maybe it can be setup so the text is in massive font size for you? 😜

I'm not making a full Christmas dinner this year, just going to cook the meat and have sandwiches and roasties. Had Goose last year which was lovely but so much effort I was in the kitchen all day.
