I’m fully expecting Kane to be benched next game to be honest.
Doesn't deserve to be. He's one of the few bright sparks left in team where many have started to go off the boil and are out of form.

So dabo is better because we were top 6 when he did?

This is my point, it very much is scraping
Maybe it's the teacher in me now but I am starting to lose my patience with you. Stop acting like a child

I think dabo is better because he's stronger he's faster he dribbles better he gets to byline better he plays technical on twos better.

But yeh nah I'm scraping barrel cos I'm one of those "people" that doesn't "like" Kane.

Plz don't bother responding if just gonna keep saying same thing. I can't explain it any more from my end of things.

Having a teacher in you is your problem.

I am literally asking what else he brings to the team, Dabo isn't faster than Kane.

So, he plays one twos better? Let's scrap the bloke creating goals for us, bring us a one two on the half way line.

I’d be worried if I was a first team CB that’s fit to play when our RWB/RB gets moved into my position ahead of me. Not a good sign from MR is it?

No one still thinks Dabo is a better player than Kane at this point do they? He's still a decent player, albeit in horrible form, but come on...

None of us know the reality of how fit Hyam was. And don't always trust what a manager says about players' fitness.

We have to accept As supporters we know so much less about the players than the management team do and what seem like puzzling selections are likely relationship to fitness issues.

Lets see why people still think Dabo is better than Kane.

No thank you. Don’t want this kind of idiot at the club.

I think (and hope) this is hot air made up by someone behind a keyboard, bored with nothing to write about...

Absolutely no thank you. ,

Apparently he is QPR's most hated player of the last 5 years

He seems a bit merrhhh. The idea of this signing does not excite me

I agree, he's a more defensive minded full back and would look limited in our system

Not keen, sounds like he's a right knob.

That's just the first few, he hadn't even signed then. People had made their minds up generally.

The funny thing On that thread was how someone whose played 3 times as many games at this level than Dabo was viewed as barely an upgrade on Pask

Kane has almost made himself undroppable, yesterday it was actually a hindrance as for some reason Robins simply has to stick Dabo in somewhere. Starting him at right centre back is just dreadful, half expecting him to pop up in centre mid next game.

You are spot on. So many wanted to hate Kane before he'd even kicked a ball. Its there for all to see.

Exactly.

Nobody seems to actually be able to say what Dabo brings to the team over Kane other than one twos with O'Hare.

He didn't get a single assist for us last season.

If Hyam wasn't fit who else would you have played there?

If Hyam was fit enough to come on then he's fit in my eyes. If not you have to go with a 4 rather than play people out of position.

If you play with a four, doesn't that then have a knock on effect on the rest of the side, though, so everybody bar the two CBs are out of position? And they'll be a pair rather than a three, so playing an unfamiliar role too, really.

I've said on a couple of occasions what I think is different about Dabo to Kane and why I think Robins prefers him.

He hugs that touchline and is constantly our out ball. Kane doesn't give us that.
As I've said before, personally I wouldn't have a problem with Kane coming in for him but I don't think Robins will do it.
Though I wouldn't be surprised if we started on Saturday with the defence that finished yesterday.

If you go with 4 then most of the team is out of position because we're playing a shape we're not used to.

Hasn't Kane played at CB?

The enforced 4 did OK against Bristol City. Could even stick Dabo at LB if you really wanted to, he's actually alright there tbf.
Could it really be worse than yesterday, i mean the first goal is woeful and it happens because Dabo isn't a CB.

That's the thing, he would drop an actual lb for him. After dropping a CB for him.

Like I say, he loves that out ball to Dabo.
To be fair, so do I but he's definitely off the boil of late.
The mistake for the goal yesterday was criminal, out of position or not.

Unforunetley this dumbass nonsense happens to many new signings doesn't it? It's not exclusive to Kane that's for sure.

They did OK against Bristol City as much because they did some bizarre tactics, and allowed us to bomb forward with the fullbacks regardless. No way most teams would allow that.

We should be able to but I'd be very nervous about going 4 at the back.
Well so would I a bit in fairness, but no more nervous than lining up with a back 5 like that.
