Years ago I used to work at Hereward College , each Christmas the college were given 3 Beautifully decorated Christmas trees to put on display around the college . For some reason we were breaking up quite early for the holidays round about the 14th of December . I asked one of the managers what were happing with the trees , she said they were getting thrown out the day the students were leaving . It was me and my wife’s first Christmas as a married couple and we hadn’t bought a tree or decorations . So I asked if I could have one and the manager said yes. My wife was on a late shift and wasn’t getting g home till 10 I was on a late shift but wasn’t getting in till midnight so in my break I grabbed the biggest and best tree . Brought it home and placed it in the corner of the living room as I surprise for when my wife got in . What I didn’t know was that between me going back to work and my wife coming home the tree toppled over and smashed some ornaments we had been given as a wedding present . So when I got in she gave a bollocking and I had to sneak this 8ft tree out the back garden up the entry and chuck it into a field that was at the top of our road . So a romantic Christmas surprise got ruined and we have to put the decorations up together 😁

Lovely. You do need to sort out the idiot who blocked up all your chimney with those logs though.
How the hell is Santa going to get passed those logs?

Just put lights on a tree that’s technically not mine on a patch of land in front of my house by the street. Is anyone going to complain or should I be alright do you reckon? Had a few metres left after doing the front garden and thought why not?

If somebody complains take them off, if they don't, don't.

As long as you're not flashing blue strobes into my bedroom window at all hours, I don't care ;)

Had a go at decorating it myself, the girls will do it properly tomorrow
Yeah I take no credit for ours, but it asked for a piccie. It's a bit like suitcase packing, I think the magic fairies come in and do it for me.
