He's absolutely dreadful and sky need to fuck him off.

Don Goodman trying to humour him over his claim Harvey Barnes should have gone down for a penalty when you can clearly tell he thinks he's talking crap.

He always sounds so bored these days. Unless it's United scoring. Then he seems to find some enthusiasm.

He's 76, if Sky were thinking of getting rid of him they had an easy option with covid. Just say they were concerned about his health given his age and bring someone else in.

Could be worse, could have Matterface every Sunday.

The Aguero commentary is legendary. However recently he does seems less interested and he tends to ramble on a bit. Probably his age.
Still one of the better commentators, amongst a load of dross.

He’s a big Man City fan.
Tyler commentated on our FA cup semi final against Leeds in 1987. Was clearly biased towards Leeds as that was his club.
Sounded very downbeat when Michael Gynn equalised for us then exploded with pride when Edwards scored for them...Quote, 'a great game has become wonderful'..... Never liked him from that point onwards.

Yeah, his commentary for all of the Cov goals is quite understated, none less so than the actual winner

The biggest disparity in commentary for two goals I’ve ever seen was during that Liverpool v United game. I assumed from that he must have been a United fan. It’s absolutely mad. (Apologise for crap video quality)

“A match that was always memorable has now become wonderful!”

Hang on, have I got this right, according to what's been said on here, Martin Tyler is a Woking, Leeds, Man City AND Man Utd fan?
