COVID pass (9 Viewers)

Whenever I mention I’m vaccinated, the first response is usually ‘well you can still catch it and spread it’. Not sure what the point of a vaccine passport is In that case, and the Lateral flow test you do at home, but dont actually have to do, just report a negative result…. Just seems like pure theatre.
But you almost certainly won’t die from it. Or act as an incubator for new mutations.

Having the vaccine reduces the chances of you catching Covid, and thus the chances of spreading it.

It'd be a pure nutter who'd go to the effort of getting some lateral flow tests and not taking them, too. Who in their right mind would make all that effort and not stick the swab up their nose for five seconds?

I really can't understand the logic behind people not wanting the vaccine, I think it's proof enough that it works with the number of deaths concerning the elderly, far fewer than before the vaccine. What is the logic of going and getting drunk every weekend or snorting stuff and not wanting the jab because it has side effects? Maybe they have a fear it will make them normal?
On the other hand, I can't understand this passport nonsense at major events. If people have a fear of the virus then they shouldn't go to large events. I am nearly 60 and won't go to the games while the threat worsens. I don't want to trust a snotty nosed junked up lad with regards to my medical conditions.
Confucius said that life is simple, it's only human that like to complicate it.

Because there are unfortunately some people in this world who have so little going for them and are so insignificant that they need something to make themselves feel special and unique and the flavour of the month for that at the moment is being anti covid vax (see flat earth a few years ago, the elite child trafficking ring, 9/11 an inside job etc)

Did you see that QAnon documentary on 4 earlier this week? It is bewildering what people believe in these days. It's like the internet has just totally undone years of science and progress.

It’s not nailed on in my opinion, we’ll come good after Christmas as we normally do, if we’ll come good enough to stay up is yet to be seen.
Do you do the rounds on every teams forum? We played you first game of the season :ROFLMAO:

I'll have to take a look.... Things like this absolutely fascinate me (I've got lost down you tube black holes numerous times trying to get my head around it all)

The thing I've also noticed which is interesting is that these people seem to believe all of the conspiracy theories (so covid jab bad, no moon landing, flat earth etc) not just one of them which I think just shows that they do it to try and make themselves seem interesting rather than the vacuous piece of beige that they actually are

Apparently, the new mutations occur in the vaccinated, not the unvaccinated.
If your unvaccinated, your body will eventually kill the virus (if the virus doesn't kill you first)
But in the vaccinated, the virus can still live on even after you have no symptoms.
This apparently is when it can mutate.

Also, if your unvaccinated, and you come into contact with an infected person, you MUST isolate. But if your vaccinated you don't have to isolate, so your free to potentially spread the virus further!

So in short, the vaccinated are spreading the virus, and incubating new variants!

Thing I found weirdest was that they think the government is lying to them, but then choose the absolute bat-shit crazy stuff to believe. Stuff like economics and services they're absolutely fine with, but the trafficking kids and Michelle Obama being a man - yep, course that's true!

Also seems weird that they're looking to Trump / Michael Flynn to uncover the truth when the two of them have been in the upper echelons of society and the establishment for ages. How can you be almost paranoid to thinking everyone is lying to you but somehow believe Trump, who the biggest bullshitter out there.

But I guess that's why cults choose crazy back stories - they know the people that believe them aren't going to be the sharpest tools in the box and even if they do change their minds they're more likely to double down cos they'll look so stupid.

Can't you just link to where you found it?
I am wondering if a Senior Research Fellow in infectious diseases saying vaccines are the best way to suppress the virus, is good enough evidence to the contrary.

But how can I show that without using a media source?

You continue taking that spoon fed BS from the media old chap.
There's proof aplenty out there from far more qualified people than you'll find on here.
Go look for yourself (although we both know you won't bother)
Ok then let me use a small bit of logic, nothing a critical thinker like you that doesn't listen to the nasty MSM isn't capable of.

Apparently, - synonym for bullshit
the new mutations occur in the vaccinated, not the unvaccinated. - strange then that the variants are all coming from countries with largely unvaccinated populations

If your [I don't know why I'd take medical advice from someone that doesn't know primary school grammar] unvaccinated, your body will eventually kill the virus (if the virus doesn't kill you first)
But in the vaccinated, the virus can still live on even after you have no symptoms. - whether vaccinated or unvaccinated if you catch a virus your body creates antibodies to kill it off. Your body remembers the antibodies that killed the virus, it doesn't just get all better and happily let the virus live inside you

This apparently is when it can mutate. - All virus mutate naturally due to copying errors in DNA

Also, if your unvaccinated, and you come into contact with an infected person, you MUST isolate. But if your vaccinated you don't have to isolate, so your free to potentially spread the virus further! - You're less likely to catch and spread the virus vaccinated, the alternative is forcing everybody to isolate or harsher measures and lockdowns

So in short, the vaccinated are spreading the virus, and incubating new variants! - In short:

Your clearly set in your beliefs, which is fine, good for you.
I'm happy to sit tight and wait for the inevitable mass health problems that will inevitable occur. The only people who arnt worrying are the unvaccinated.
If you have any genuine interest in listening to medically qualified experts who are expressing genuine concerns then pm me your whatsapp and I'll forward plenty of info for you to listen to.

It’s probably from a crackpot like Vernon Coleman
What astounds me is many people who shout CRITICAL THINKING tend to ave no awareness of what critical thinking actually *is*. Sure, it's challenging accepted beliefs... if qualified to do so. It is, however, accepting that if not qualified to do so, then the overwhelming consensus is most likely (note, not certain, but most likely) to be the actual correct path. There will always be renegades, rogues in a particular field but... the majority arrive at their decision based on training, and experitise. Criticial thinking is to be aware of that consensus, and not seek out said renegades to fit a predisposed wish.

Pompous rant over.

If I had proof aplenty of something that apparently happens I'd be firing the link off at all the sheeple doubters, and I suspect there's a silent but vocal minority that's as hatstand as I am

The problem is when you see anti vaxxers on TV or Media they quote genuine medical people that gives apparent justification

One the other day was Coleman - he is a qualified doctor - but an absolute crank who said heterosexuals can’t get AIDS and opposes vaccines full stop.

Genuine question, why do you think that it's only a handful of "qualified experts" raising these "concerns" when the vast majority of medically qualified people think the opposite of what they are saying

Those raising concerns are (in general) being denied coverage by the national press. Hence the only voices you get to hear are those who are in agreement with big Pharma.
When eminent expers like DR Robert W Malone MD (the man credited with the invention of Mrna vaccines) says we shouldn't be getting mass vaccinated for covid 19 you'd think that would make the news surely? Or at least it would generate some debate.
But no, these people are denied a voice.
Why is that the case?

Any one interested can still search Dr Malone on line, and for anyone not just happy to be spoon-fed BS by the media he makes very interesting if somewhat worrying reading.

I'm unvaccinated myself and had covid 2 weeks ago, so had plenty of time on my hands to read all sides of the argument.
What I found was quite shocking.

If your interested I'm my experience of having covid as a middle aged unvaccinated man with no underlying health issues. I can jonestly say I was rough for about 3 days, with flu like symptoms, and I lost my sence of taste and smell which has still not returned to normal as yet. The coughing was annoying but didn't get to my chest, I returned to work after 10 days but did feel very fatigued. The fatigue took longer to get over than I expected and was the hardest symptom to deal with.
That's my honest account of having covid.
Having a vaccine may have reduced the symptoms (I'll never know) but personally I'm happy I never had it. I now have natural immunity which I believe is better for me.
