It’s the same story as every other times we play the box.
Look good, have a lot of the ball, fail to score, concede a cheap goal, convince ourselves that the opposition sitting off knowing we have no cutting edge with 1 striker and O’Hare is us playing well.
Eventually we’ll bring a second striker on, look much better and maybe get an equaliser.
This’ll then convince people that everything is alright and that we don’t need to sort out starting with a built in disadvantage.

Because of our two clear cut chances one came from O Hares pressing putting them under pressure and forcing a mistake, and the other was him getting in a great position.Why Allen?
I don’t like it when we play Godden as a lone striker and I think we’re missing gyokeres physicality.

O'Hare is so frustrating. I love him but ffs his arse goes every time he approaches the 18yrd box. How can someone that obviously good at football struggle so much at shooting?
Take him out of the team wed miss his energy. Maybe we play him deeper with no expectations to add goals?

The reality is that there is no other option but O'Hare for the role. It's nothing to do with being the whipping boy, his end product isn't good enough.
The move was excellent. O'Hare's movement again was excellent. But it wasn't a great save at all. It was a poor shot.
