There's no balance though really , kane caught very flat footed for the first ... but we brush that aside because he generally played well and was one of the better performers tbh .. if it was dabo on the left , well ... we know what happens
It confirmation bias. At the moment Dabo, O'Hare and Godden are the victims

Kane was having to tuck in and mark the striker in the build up which is why he couldn't get out to toffolo. It was not the case he was flat footed at all.

Fair point looked slightly different in real time

However we view it , there's a fans forum very impressed with our team (huddersfield ), how we play football and fully appreciate we were unlucky not to win ..

I do think it felt footballing wise like our best 90 of the season , I wish we had won so we could really appreciate that effort properly from the team

Moore - 7 Stupid punch out
Kane - 8 Lovely to watch someone take on their man, put good ball in
Hyam - 7 Solid
McFadz - 7 Solid
Rose -7 Not a fan but liked him today
Dabo - 4 I love Fanky, but he was shite today
Sheaf - 7 Developing nicely, due a screamer
Kelly - 5 Can't keep up
Allen - 8 Awesome MOM
O’Hare - 5 Can't believe I'm rating him at five, turns a man well but then what?
Godden - 7 Great first half, did nothing second half except score

Jones -7 Great ball in for the goal
Maatsen - 7 I like this lad, looked confident, good move to bench him today
Walker - 5 Is it me or is he lazy ?

I thought Godden had faded out of the game 2nd half and offered nothing but once again he pops up with a goal and up goes his rating which I guess thats what he's paid for but I do wish he would at least worry the oppositions defence more when he's not scoring

Moore 7
Kane 8 impressive
Dabo 6 offers nothing at lwb
Rose 7 great distribution
Hyam 7 solid, shudda scored
Mcfad 7 usual
Kelly 7 harshly treated by some on here
Sheaf 7 growing
Allen 8 great energy
Ohare 6
Godden 7 tireless effort

thought we were excellent but lack clinical finishing and pace in final third

made hudds look a pub side most of the game 2 pts dropped

Don't bemoan Godden guys, blame Robins. One up top he doesn't hold it up and has no pace. Personally not a fan of one striker, but if we have to then it has to be Gyo for that role.

I'm guessing he's not fully fit, and it's taking him out the firing line a bit.

Fair to say even though Godden wasn't great, he still got a goal again, and offered an option in and around their penalty area, so I don't think he was a total disaster up front by himself.

Jones is definitely pushing for more game time.

O’Hare has to be due a rest soon. I guess over the busy Xmas period we'll see that change at some point.

I think it gives us better control of midfield and is just missing a) Gyo in form to lead the line and b) the midfield getting forward quicker when we regain possession.

Beckham rarely beat his man, he was one of the best wide men in PL history. Just needed a yard, and let the quality of his delivery do the rest.

Played mostly in a 4 man midfield with a full back behind him so it's a completely different role tactically and positionally.

Kane was good today, big improvement on the west brom performance. As long as the team can create the space and crossing chances for him as today then he can consistently deliver dangerous crosses.

(some absolutely ridiculous diagonal passes from I think rose today?)
