Now is the time to give him his due credit .

He is looking like a real footballer , was miffed when he was subbed tbh , although we went on to score .

His defensive work "Recently " has been incredible, his distribution also has been top notch .
There is no doubt he is the future of this club , and hamer Always looks better next to him .

Now he is generally cutting out the mistakes , it's time to heap on the praise he deserves , may he continue this path of development and hopefully with us

And yes , I wasn't his biggest fan 👌

Yes and I'm not sure yanking him or on occasion ommitting him altogether aids his particular development or confidence/assurance when he is or gets onto the pitch.

I do think Robins is struggling a bit to let his captain go and still sees him as the one to help keep us defensively sound , although it's now getting harder to justify

Not sure if he lost his man for the goal today (not that I want to give the boo boys more ammo, could have been Kelly...) but thought he was very good again and has been for weeks now.

He was great today. A real difference in quality to Kelly.

The shot was poor and there are other opportunities where I'd like to see him have a go.

Taking him off is still baffling.

I think it was a joint fuck up by Kelly and sheaf. They were caught out by the long ball, and the striker dropped off into the space they left. They then didn't reset fast enough and it was quite simple.

He can be very naive at times. He's young and learning but he can be frustrating. Glad he's had an upturn in form, Robins comments about him in the week largely mirror my view of him, have to live with the odd shit pass or lapse in concentration because he has the potential to be Premier League level cm.
His best game for us was the win v Bristol city for me, showed real battle and quality.
Nobody seems balanced on him though, he's either dogshit or incredible depending on who you talk to. Of course neither are true

The first caller on CWR said he doesnt score any goals we should sell him🤣

And the second one said we should sell COH (some might argue that and then reinvest which, whilst baffling to me, you could make an argument for) or loan him out and give the squad players a go. Loan him out? On what planet does that make sense..?

He keeps getting subbed, not sure if fitness is an issue? (doesn't look it to the eye when watching)

I’m sorry but I just don’t see this, he’s quite poor in my humble opinion.

Today with his very first touch, he lost it and gave a foul away!!
Second touch…..foul.
Great opportunity for a shot on the edge of the box in the first half……totally shanked it after a great move.

His general game is poor and his lazy running style annoys me, I don’t think I’ve ever seen him sprint once yet!!

A lot of good footballers give the impression that they're ponderous, almost as if they're at half pace, a prime example of this would be Pep Guardiola when he was playing at Barcelona.
I see Sheaf in that same mould and anticipate a bright future for the lad.

I genuinely hope you are right but am equally doubtful that will actually happen.

Comparing him to Pep may well be a tall order too!!🤣

His running style reminds me of Steve Sedgeley but with a fifth of the talent!!

I didn't intend to make a direct comparison with Guardiola who was an incredible player in his prime, but simply note that there are some comparisons in their style of play.
I don't expect him to get close to that level but would still hope that he will keep on improving to become a very good footballer

Players like Sheaf show that everyone interprets the game very differently. Having played football I see someone that you can give the ball to and rely on which is under appreciated.

Watch when a centre back has an opportunity to give it to Kelly, there's a reluctance, never that with Sheaf. He keeps the ball moving and creates phases of play others can't. Wing backs trust him more in the give and goes down the sides too - a big part of our dynamic.

I was very disappointed he came off yesterday but on reflection my only thought would be that Robins appreciates his talent and wants more from him in terms of taking the game by the scruff of the neck.

He's one of our best players and I'm glad a larger proportion are seeing that this season.

It was obvious early on here that he is a good player with excellent potential as he learns the game more. Undoubtedly one of our best players. The only real weakness is the lack of speed, which might well limit how far he goes.

Yes, Kelly plays the way he faces whereas Sheaf will pivot one way or another

hes a very good Championship player! but needs the captain or team mates around him to put a few lace holes up his arse every so often to stop him losing concentration

This season he has played very well and forced robins to bench Kelly (reluctantly) as also playing Kelly alongside him as affected the teams flow and results as they cancel each other out .
Sheaf is the future of the club.

My boy sheaf I backed him from the start when people were getting on his back and hoping his transfer wasn't an obligation.

That said feel like it's tipped the other way now and everyone jumping on bandwagon and not seeing any faults lol

For me is a classy player but when he does make a mistake it's usually a noticbly poor one that he really shouldn't make. I get errors from high risk passes but my only gripe with sheaf is when he passes an easy ball direct to opposition or under hits something so much it's intercepted etc. No issues with a through ball that doesn't quite come off of course.

Bar that he is one of our best players and his tackling is underated.

Keep it up Ben!

I want everyone to know that I was right because I backed him from the beginning.

I jest, it's great to see that he is putting the performances and more people are starting to see it now.

I was dubious when we signed him but I thought that Robins has signed him and spent money on him so surely he sees something we dont and he clearly did
