Nice touch by Alfa, bit of humour amongst the warring frontrunners

I never get why the press try and big up who's first in FP1-3 the teams play games. Sand bagging and so on.

Quali is going to be epic. wonder if their will be some foul play. like when Nico span after setting the fastest time

Qualifying looks like it's going to be quite tight which can only be good for the Championship. One car being far and away quicker than the other increases the chances of a do or die move into turn one tomorrow and then the inevitable meltdown that will cause if there's contact.

It's an absolute sham and a sad commentary on the state of F1 that Oscar Piastri doesn't have a seat for next season.

I agree about the experience and Verstappen can be a bit hot-headed but I wonder if the tyre difference may be a vital thing.

Verstappen will likely get a lead on the softs early on and manage to stay ahead from the pitstops then in the later stages Lewis will be on fresher tyres and chasing him down. Hopefully be an exciting ending and I hope whoever wins it's a fair and clean fight.

Max is amazing to watch. Hopefully he gets over the line....first lol.

5 sec penalty cos lewis doesn't know how to overtake lol. Extreme Bias from the British patriots backing lewis but hopefully max can overcome the odds

I have zero interest in the sport but I’m actually curious why you wouldn’t want Hamilton to win

His personality. Literally only that.

He's a very egotistical, very hypocritical man, and very self righteous.

Thats my dislike of him and a lot of others are the same.

However as a driver, he is fucking unbelievable and the like of which i think we will not see again for a long time

He promotes political causes - seems pretty dignified in his interviews - and British going for a record victory - by definition you’ve got to have an ego to have achieved all that

Both drivers are absolutely fantastic and whoever wins the title today will thoroughly deserve it after the most relentlessly brutal season I can remember. I can't say I dislike either driver and this season would have been as dull as dishwater with only one of them in the sport.

Anything can and probably will happen today. My guess would be Verstappen pulls away easily on the softs, but will it be enough to clear traffic at his first stop? An early safety car would certainly ruin that strategy. I think it'll come down to an Austin / Interlagos style Hamilton chase on the softs late on and Max will just about hold him off but it'll be tight.

Verstappen couldn't care less about how he drives as long as he wins. Zero personality and, for those who do care, doesn't take the knee (shock, horror)
Come on Lewis .

Not sure about that incident.

I don't think Hamilton had anywhere else to go, as Verstappen only just kept it on track himself and they touched as Hamilton braked, but he used that run-off to gain an advantage in terms of distance between the two.

Typical Verstappen trying to cause a crash the instant he goes behind. Good thing the stewards are wise to it.

I don't think he was trying to cause a crash. He's just hot-headed and after going behind he was going to make a mad lunge to retake the lead, leaving Hamilton with no racetrack and having to leave the track.

Definitely think Hamilton used it to gain an advantage cos he was much further ahead after that corner than before.
