Overtaking should be banned

Oh the humanity!!
Fair overtaking sure. But Lewis turns out of that corner to allow them to both still be out there.
Funny how Checo manages to overtake and race hard and fair yet Max just sends it with no regard of if he crashes or not.

That ultimately is why he’s not winning the Championship today bar a mechanical issue for Lewis.

Did more in that one lap than Bottas has done for Lewis all season
It was more a quip against him being thanked, which Lewis has done all season with Bottas. Yet it’s taken 22 races for Max to even realise he’s got a team mate.

Giovanzzi parking more awkwardly than he needed too. Only a virtual safety car. Wonder who might gamble on a pitstop

Surprised Lewis not pitting

If he had Verstappen would have stayed out and ceded position. Would have had better tyres and he is good at chasing but got the danger of overtaking Max and him doing something mad. Damned if he does or doesn't.

I'd have thought a pit stop was a no-brainer for Hamilton. At least it makes a procession vaguely interesting!

Personally I wouldn't have brought Hamilton in so quickly after max for the first stop.

With the VSC I'd have probably pitted to, but as I said before you can make an argument either way.

Reckon it will be very close at the end, and with the Championship this year that's the way it should be.

If Hamilton had got past Perez straight away he would probably have had the gap to pit under the VSC and regain the lead if Verstappen stayed out. If Verstappen does win the title he owes Perez a pint.

One thing is for sure, unless there's another incident Hamilton will now not have the time to pit and fight back so he's got to nurse these tyres to the end.

Hamilton has it in the bag easy, not even going to be that close.
