lets look at the applications for the job, dale evans and that bloke from people just do nothing.

In all seriousness, why was this not a feasible option?

Kurupt FM as the shirt sponsor, team runs out to some thumping garage tracks and every time we score there could be a turntable rewind sound.

Struggling with it as no viable alternative currently on the table as far as i can see presently - I've clicked don't know anyhow.
To say happy with current owners is definitely a bit strong feasibly we could get better owners but also feasibly a car crash and far worse!

@Skybluebeliever recent post about an interesting couple of months "if certain things materialise" ... Coupled with further comments about Hamer possibly departing and no incomings did make me think, I wonder whether there is current interest in the club. The club is obviously on the most stable footing it has been for years and the value/potential of the club won't have been as big arguably ever in my opinion.

If you can find an owner with pots of money to waste and can get control of the stadium etc then go, if it’s JarJar Binks or whatever he was called then we are better off as we are.

So a 9 year lease, 16% interest rates on loans, no interest in external investment

Exciting times

Ok they haven't been great owners. But things seem on a more even keel last few seasons.

I want the club to try and reduce the debt and happy to stay in Championship to achieve that.

Look around at what has happened at other clubs and we are better placed than some.

There was a time when I would have thrown whisky on her if she was on fire, now its more of better the devil you know and dare I say it an acceptance that they are our owners and there is nothing that is going to change unless they want it to.
I suppose we are kept in the dark over our true position financially but realistically it’s not good. All those wanting investment are shouting at the moon IMO and I have no problem with that under the current circumstances of the pandemic and the risk that entails.

An upwards trajectory from when? When she took over?

If you can't see that things are currently on an upward curve then there's little help for you (admittedly we don't know entirely at what end of that curve we are at)

I think it was nailed on that we'd go down to League 1 (at the very least), it happened to so many other clubs, it was always on the cards. I admit dropping to League 2 could/should have been avoided.

There are other issues compounding this apart from relegation to league 2.
It was nice to see Joy at Wembley twice though. I didn't see her at Birmingham nor Northampton. Perhaps she went, but I didn't.

If she keeps Robin's sweet...then it's a Stay. Thats her Job. Shes hired him and backed him ,the faith has been repaid and then some with 2 promotions, and a charge currently in championship play offs.

Momentum is everything in football.

The answer for me is what/if she agrees anything in recruitment three good loans and maybe, just maybe we can carry on dreaming

On average around 17000 thousand fans are voting with their feet and money.

Most season ticket sales since the 60s. Close to record crowds.

Eh? We were averaging over 21,000 before sisu?

I'm quoting Coventry city fans only average 17000. We are currently averaging 20k.
With record Season ticket sales. 11500.

We will average over 20k this season covid permitting and we continue pushing for play offs.

So unless the current backing is an anomoly?

But we averaged more the season before they were here? You have to compare the era - I don’t personally think sisu were more popular than John poynton when we won the cup with Sillett at the helm

Guess you prefer sisu

The missus and I have season tickets as well. Support for the team on the pitch is quite different to supporting what happens in the boardroom.
Havnt heard we want SISU out for 4 years. Since FGR at hone in front of home crowd of 6k.

We were still there. But there was plenty voting with feet. NOPM lot.

The NOPM crew are now season ticket holders.

Well we haven’t had fans last year and the year before only people bothered to travel 25 miles went to games

I'm not alone only 36% want them out. See the poll.

I said that’s the way it would go - let’s see how it goes if the season implodes or next season we start to decline. We have a tiny squad, zero investment and it’s now time to see if they care less or not

We were there too, and at other bleak games that season. My view of the owners isn't dependent on how we're doing in the league, that is being left pretty much down to how often Robins can make something out of nothing. If he fails to do so we'll be going back where we came from
