you do get the occasional booking but that is for taking a deadball kick - they never get penalised for holding too long
Also the occasional booking never gets turned to a red as the behaviour continues
I think it should, as gamesmanship in my opinion should be punished as it influences the young and the more they see it now in the future they will use it more and the game will be lost

Whilst it's irritating that the likes of Forest and Sheffield Utd are getting their acts together, its nice the top 2 are getting reigned in, makes for a more interesting league.

Totally agree , don’t know how else you can stamp it out? Unless they start Stopping the clock when the balls not in play and scrap the injury time like in some American sports. I don’t watch football to watch physios spend more time on the pitch than the majority of the subs that come on.

I believe stats show that ball is only in play for around 50 to 55 minutes of any given game. The only way to stop the excessive time wasting would be to have an independent timekeeper, with 2 halves of say 30 minutes, with the clock only on when the ball is actually in play. As pointed out the refs already have the power to give an indirect free kick for a keeper holding the ball for over 6 seconds. Of course you will still get keepers falling to the floor when taking a simple catch to waste a few extra seconds, and players still feigning injury and slowing the game down as a tactical ploy to halt the opposition momentum, much as Birmingham did to us recently, but can't see anyway around that.

Theyve spent nearly £20m in the last 3 years.

He signed Brereton for £8m and Gallagher for £6m

Sure but they'll easily make that back & actually got more than that just for Armstrong.

When he took over they were a mess, past it players on massive contracts & nailed on relegated to L1.

No doubt it's been a rocky road, far from pretty & he's been unpopular with huge swathes of their fanbase but the patience has paid off. I think people underestimate what a tough job he had there tbh.

They now have a bottom third wage bill & the 2nd youngest squad in the division whilst bringing through lots of exciting players that could net them millions.

He's doing an excellent job this season it's amazing how things can turn as going by how they ended last season you would have though his days were numbered there

The issue with Mowbray teams is always the second half of the season. Let’s see if this one is any different
They've got stronger as this season has gone on, it is a young squad though possibly vulnerable to a late season drop off. Fair play to him as the Blackburn fans wanted rid of him (and I think many still do).

That’s what happens when the league rules are bollocks. Would always rather have points than games in hand.

Only what 3 games today? It’s nit an issue if we are good enough I doubt QPR are losing sleep
