There were plenty on here slating him a few weeks back.

In the last 10 games Hamer has started we’ve managed 10 points which suggests results won’t improve when he plays either

Good news if true. Gives us a bit more power to pick the best moment to cash in and he clearly isn't in too much of a hurry to leave.

Can see now why we have no money for new players

Difficult time to buy. Wouldn't be surprised if we brought in a loan player. Couple of hopes to fill, biggest being LWB. Would also bring in someone who can play AM too so O'Hare can have an occasional rest.

Maybe we can get Ryan Giles again?

Think I read Swansea were interested in him. On a different note, how is it that Derby seem to be in for players. I would have thought creditors would be screaming from the hilltops about that. There must be some sort of rule preventing signings until their debts are sorted?

Yes, it wasn't a criticism, the opposite. Although some have shown disappointment about the likelyhood of signing anyone, it makes sense to spend limited funds on securing our best players.

The frustration isn’t about using the limited funds in that way, it’s about why the funds are limited

Not many clubs who aren't in the position of having limited funds at the moment BSB
Not sure of the Financial Fair Play rules in the Championship currently but that may be a factor for many clubs because of the dip in income during the pandemic

Not many clubs with owners helping themselves to high interest loans deflating our funds further than would otherwise be the case.
