Not worried about this nonsence story, and think dabo can play there and Kane on the right side.

The club definitely have this in the back of their minds. I got told a couple of weeks ago they're tracking Neil Taylor's situation at Boro as he's on a short-term deal there, which expires at some point this month. I think that'll only be a consideration if Maatsen goes back though.

I believe Taylor has already agreed deal extension with Middlesbrough until the end of the season but it hasn't been formally announced yet.

Don’t think there’s any mileage in this but he wasn’t played Saturday so isn’t cup-tied so we never know.

He’s not ready to play in the prem, he is improving here but isn’t at that level yet.
In you opinion, Remember he will be playing with better players, some world class, but of course will be up against similar, don’t think for a minute he would walk straight into Chelsea first team but forgetting the league cup, they are in three other competitions and it seems only one recognised lwb.

Quite often yes. CB, LB or LWB

Probably not the one you're thinking of.
He does have a fairly long throw, better option than any we have currently, but the massive throw in guy is Marc Roberts.

What’s your opinion of him? If he’s another Kane type signing for the left that would be spot on.

Kristian Pedersen now linked. Definitely seems like we're looking at LWBs again.

Birmingham City fans responding to the tweet from Pete O'Rourke are keen to drive him to whoever will have him.

Given our recent history of that situation I say sign him up. Would be nice to have another crazy Scandinavian in the team anyway

Yeah QPR fans said the same about Kane so it doesn't worry me.

A lot of dysfunctional teams at this level don't know what they have or what to do with players. Huge turnover in managers means signings from previous managers end up as square pegs or out of the team.

I'd 100% take him.

As @Mr Panda says, Birmingham fans happy to get rid but I don't think that's due to lack of ability but quite like the Todd Kane scenario, things have gone a bit stale, think he wants out & they're now of the opinion he's not trying hard enough.

I think we'd face stiff competition, apparently Forest & Burnley also interested which would surely rule us out.

Left sided Championship defenders seem to be in high demand.

Depends what we could offer vs the others in respect of playing time. I’d be surprised if he got in at Burnley ahead of Charlie Taylor, and whilst Tarkowski is possibly off at the end of the season there’s still Nathan Collins in reserve there. Forest, maybe a bit more tricky.

He could be ideal for the permanent LWB weve been looking for for a while now. 27 so in his best years

Speaking to my Blues mate, he said that the last few seasons Pedersen has been Mr reliable but this season his forms been off a cliff. Can't be that bad, part of a strong defence.
