Don't seem to like him, going through twitter feeds. One even said he would drive Keogh back to Cov with a receipt back for 1 million. :D

Should he have been playing? Did he not receive a straight red versus Doncaster leaving him with a 3 match ban - 1x v Southampton plus 2 more?

It will be like Westwood Syndrome,Murphy's never been good enough to fill his boots.Derby went and sold fans favourite jason Shackel so you're not going to hear a balanced view.

Looked on their forum and most people are rating him as 6/7 for last night, then again most didn't give any of the back 5 below a 6 which is questionable when they conceded 5 goals

He was never that brilliant, an okay defender, nothing more.

Though some seemed to think he was the best defender we've had since we were relegated from the Prem.

Some aren't the brightest.

He was/is a solid defender. A good defender never looks outstanding because they are so far ahead of the game they quash any trouble before it arises.

Just a few quotes from the Derby forum in their thread about Saturday's match:

I thought Keogh looked a bit nervous and he seems to ball watch quite a bit. He also goes chasing balls that are there for others to win leaving gaps in behind.

Defensively we were weak, particularly for the equaliser, but I thought Keogh had a good game. The main creaks were down the flanks

Keogh - 7 - also played well today, much like Roberts in sometimes was caught leaving a hole but recovered well on many occasions and his leadership on a pitch is so evident!

Keogh was generally very good - won most of his headers, won a couple of important last ditch tackles and led the team well;

A bit negative but generally positive. He'll have harder critics as he's gone straight in as captain.

He has also gone for a huge price tag - Derby haven't been huge spenders - so there will be pressure on him due to that. I think it will work out OK for him in the end.

Which is something that Keogh never was. Last ditch tackles to excite the crowd, who forgot the reason for the last-ditch tackles generally the lack of positioning sense in the first place.

His distribution lacked an awful lot too.

Never said he was a bad defender, just not the great defender that some made him out to be.

Hence why he's at Derby, not the Prem or a top Championship side as some said he was destined for.

Good money for him though, so can't knock him.

He was our best player last season.

In the land of the blind though the one eyed man will always be king.

He was a good tackler, which gained him fans and rightfully so. Doesn't mean we can't point out he could be positionally flawed and was guilty of the odd 'Hollywood' tackle at times. Seems a few Rams share a similar take.

Because a Derby Fans opinion formed after 1 or 2 games is valued so much higher than the majority of fans on here who witnessed consistent performances for 2 years. Why do we hope for ex-players failure?!? Beyond me.
