Wont be anywhere near 50 points to stay up! Similar to last year 44/45 points will keep you up. Maybe not even that much.

Derby could scrape out of it...if they can get to about 44 points which is still a task need another 30 points from 20 games.
going by latest reports, Derby will do well to avoid liquidation!! I hope the old saying "cheats never prosper" will apply in their case.

Anyone in the top 10 probably has a chance at playoffs. That means 4 will miss out.

Are we better than 4 other teams? It's all on us.

I would say that Fulham bournemouth and blackburn will make the top 6 without doubt
so 3 spaces for
QPR/ WBA/ Middlesbrough/ Huddersfield/ CCFC/ stoke/ Forest
the next 3 games
Win all 3 and we are at the top of that list
5-7 points leaves us in the mix
4 or less and we are towards the bottom

As we saw with us this time 2 years ago, we didnt look great around christmas. Its what you do from now till end of season, string a few wins together (3,4,5 or 6) then literally anything is possible. We will be in with a shout till the end.

Could be interesting last 2 games of season. Huddersfield at home and then Stoke away....if we have a sniff going into those 2 games il be very happy.

It’s 4 of the 5 before those that worry me:

Deliver around Stoke quite a lot, can confirm any fans I’ve met are “big I-am’s”. Really fancy themselves as above this level.

Must be quite a market for tribute acts covering Notorious and Black Eyed Peas songs in that part of the world.

Nearly everyone believing Blackburn are the real thing by the looks of it. A lot of questions around them though. Will Brereton still be with them after January? Will Mowbray defy his career pattern of managing teams that fade away? They obviously have a decent chance because of the position they are currently in, but I would be surprised if at the end of the season they are ahead of West Brom, who plenty seem to think will miss out.

I would like to see the stats, but every time I see Brereton on the scoresheet his goals seem to be tap ins. Seems to have a knack of getting in the right position and can actually finish his dinner. Not a criticism, but surely there must be a way to handle him.

Was listening to that Quest program which has Ian Holloway on as a pundit and he loves us thinks Robins is the most underrated manager in the league and reckons no one looks forward to playing Cov.
