Walker to pompey (2 Viewers)

Walker has been unlucky here, Gyo's early form and Godden's form now is keeping him out.
To be honest I don't think he really suits the style of play we aspire to, high energy pressing, but he is a good player who will do well in the right circumstances.

I think the ironic thing is had he played on Saturday he’d have had a hatful. A fair bit of the time when he plays the chances have been scarce or in stoppage time

Can't be true , they are league 1 and he's championship quality .. championship clubs should be in for him

They are in a promotion chase the manager he used to play for and we need to pay for the lefts back wages

Walker is a decent player but it takes him a few games to get up to speed and he doesn't have that luxury here. I like having him as an option though.

Glad you know that our business has concluded

Well I did say we had to move wages out. No new forwards coming in I don’t think so could be interesting if Godden gets crocked

You remind me of covcity4life before he grew up. You add very little of any value and just attempt to troll and wind people up, but it is predictable and boring.

In fact, you must have one of the lowest mental ages on this forum, which is quite an achievement.

Didn´t you say we should sell Godden the other day before deleting your posts? Embarrassing.
Made me laugh out loud!

So we’ve got rid of 3 players who wouldn’t be out of contract at the end of the season, who are nowhere near the first team to sign a new first choice LWB. Good business right?

No of course not - we’ve signed a left back as Maatsen is injured. So you think this is a promotion push window - wow

League one move seems a big backward step for him. hes well proven there and that was 2/3 years ago.

HE would walk into , Hull/Barnsley/ Posh side to at least be getting regular mins.

Cowley was his manager at Lincoln wasn’t he?

Don't know which side instigated this but I suspect Walker would be up for a move to a club in the play off mix where he knows the manager well and would expect to be in the be starting 11
As opposed to getting a few minutes here and there with us
Especially if it's only a loan

We have got rid of Jobello,Pask and Drysdale who would get zero playing time and maybe Shipley who’s played one game and Walker who is fourth choice at the mine to bring in a starting left sided player seems decent swap to me especially as Walker could come back with some goals and confidence next season.

I doubt he will play meaningfully for us again - he’s not been in favour even when scoring

It’s a shame if it doesn’t work out for Walker here. He’s obviously a decent finisher but like Chaplin, after all the chasing, doesn’t appear to quite fit into Robins line up and plans. Strange ! hopefully he scores a shitload and either comes back firing or gets us our cash back

Hope we can get an AM/striker on loan from prem as a couple of injuries we’d be fucked

he’s injured for 6 - 8 weeks - Shipley going I believe still so one left back in and what now 5 players out?
Still Marcel to add to that list. I'd also be looking to offload Reid and possibly Tavares for a loan too and get some minutes. I'd love to have seen Eccles or Jodi get some games elsewhere but it leaves us too thin if we get some knocks unless we can get them somewhere just for eg a month.

I quite like the idea of having Jodi Jones off the bench for the last ten minutes. Don't think he is good enough to start or hold down a place but he does offer something a little bit different

Totally agree just want to see him get some minutes under his belt too but double edged sword.

Don't really understand why we spent all that money in the summer on a fourth striker if we were just going to farm one out on loan now.

Decent chance that Walker never plays for us again, but I'd probably prefer to keep him on the books for the next couple of years than Waghorn.
You could be right and he's not shown much ,I know he's not played much either, his body language doesn't help him.
