Dont think so, my Birth certificate would also like to disagree with thisHe’s only 13
We have the superstar O’Hare mate, tbh can’t believe none of the big clubs have came in with crazy offers yet...they clearly don’t read this forum
Isn't that what an academy is for?
If that's the entire plan forever then it's basically admitting there's never any chance of success. There has to be, at some point, an intention to develop players and keep them to progress, boosted with the occasional acquisition of a first team player.
I expect us to develop and sell players, but whenever we do I at least hope the funds will allow us to bring in another couple so eventually we have a decent squad.
Yes MR tried to sign him before we signed godden , Walker turned us down to go to Lincoln , we paid a substantial fee and he was a top earner when he arrived . To bring in bidwell we had to free up wages so Walker has been sacrificed for the reminder of this season
Hopefully they'll be 1 or 2 more going out, then who knowsNo loan AM in then?
I reckon Robins is toying with us. Can see him bringing someone else in.No loan AM in then?
2 weeks to go yet, let's see what happens, I think a couple more to come in yet and maybe 1 out!No loan AM in then?
I wouldn't expect anyone else in before deadline day, but then who knows? There might be the odd PL loan on offer, a Derby freebie or Patterson angling a move from Swansea. Plenty for the rumour junkies to get excited about!
I bet you don’t?I dont do bets, unfortunately I feel I would get easily adicted
I don´t know enough about Patterson off the pitch (which I admit may be a deal breaker), but on the pitch we would be stupid not to try and get him. 8 goals this season already.
It would give something for O´Hare to think about.
Not disputing what Believer says given his brilliant track record but my instinct is that we will still strengthen further this window. No loan AM in then?

Robins had said the board are going to support him a little further which to my mind is not simply allowing a high earner to leave to reinvest in another. That should be within budget and not requiring further board support.
Straight into the Starting XI
Unlikely in the case of HilssnerMaybe if we get some cash in for Shipley and Hilßner.
Pay better attention. There could be something in this.
I have heard that Dortmund are converting Erling Haarland into a defensive midfielder and apparently Frank Lampard regrets that he didn't follow his calling as a defender.
Do you think it applies to brothers too? Could Bobby Charlton have been a better central defender?
Sorry. I assume you were joking?
Seriously now, why the fuck are you on this forum all the time? If you want to constantly talk about Barnsley then i suggest you get yourself down one of your numerous local bowls clubs.Eventually you’ll have a decent squad, and maybe challenge for a play off slot in the championship, or gain promotion from league one, but if you do, you’ve developed that squad and coaches to a standard you can no longer afford, 2 seasons developing a player generally means he’s probably got one or two years left on his contract, then the clubs cheating FFP and overspending massively, start circling, and before you know it, you’ve got to smash your wage structure, or sell for a modest profit and start again. We sell and start again because that’s the way we avoid being the next Portsmouth, Derby, and so on. We lack ambition, but it’s never boring 4 times out of 5 we’re involved in a relegation battle or a promotion push, it’s not very often we finish a season with half a dozen dead rubber games like some clubs.
Not with us with the market clubs etcI reckon Robins is toying with us. Can see him bringing someone else in.
