this is actually from the same person who said they wear shadow project over normal stone island in the Boro thread 😂. Beyond parody

I think you read into things too much. I’ve got taken the piss out of many times for wearing Stone Island and a Paddington bear scarf! I can’t afford to drink Peroni all day long no, and I’d be hammered before kick off!

Just relax, wear whatever you want to the games!

You do see the irony in saying "cockwombles" pretend to drink a more expensive beer to give it loads whilst also saying you buy a more expensive version of an already expensive brand than other people in the other room?

You wear stone island but can’t afford Peroni? How does that work?

For what it's worth, I've been to that bar on the ground before hand a few times now and it's been sound. I expected it to be awful when it was announced.

Carling has its place either on a warm summers day or as a session drink, just not one to sit and enjoy as a nice pint of if you're only out for 1 or 2.

Ahh I get it so everything you say is tongue in cheek, like when you just said wear what you want to games after being the one to bring up and criticise what people wear to games as @Liquid Gold pointed out further back in this thread.

Good to know.

I’ve covered this 2 or 3 times now and won’t again.

Yes, what I said about SI and Paddington Bear scarves was very much tongue in cheek - I have been given stick before for liking and wearing that type of jacket and I’ve taken it in good stride. I’m sorry that the humour was lost on you.

If you want to keep track of every comment I make, then please try and follow the context that it’s coming in. Don’t know why you you’re tagging in someone else to validate yourself, I’ve tried to explain it several times now.

No need for the essay I'm only being tongue in cheek

For all the sneering Carling gets its by far and away England's best selling beer.....doubling Peroni sales

2nd place? Fosters!

So who drink all this "piss" ?!

3 home defeats in a row for the first time since 2017

Didnt see this coming when we were whacking anyone that dared to play against us at home a few months back

It's the division we are now in. We haven't played teams at the level of WBA, Millwall (although they were bang average) and QPR in consecutive games for a good few years, (and of these 3 defeats we really didn't ;deserve; to lose 2 of them). Hopefully we pick up again, if we land in the middle of the table, I am already looking forward to how we develop the squad next season. Hoping Newcastle stay up, so it doesn't make one team too ridiculous for the league.

At 3.8% I guess the people drinking it are those that can’t handle their drink.

Agreed. I think the playoffs are going to be difficult to make at the rate we are going. A top 10 finish would be an improvement over last season. Like you I hope Newcastle stay up and perhaps Norwich, Watford and Burnley wouldn’t be as bad to face next season. Don’t want Sunderland to come up. Wouldn’t mind playing Wycombe again next season. No real preferences otherwise.

I said what people wear taking the piss (I wear exactly what was discussed) but I don’t remember telling people what to sing (beyond rejecting the JCH is a sex offender/x team get battered song) and how to support the team? Please elaborate? I’ve agreed with lots of your posts so don’t think I can be that far of your opinion surely?

Drink what you want to drink my friend, just Tuborg, Carlsberg, Fosters or any CAMRA bollocks is worse than Carling!
I like Fosters as a refreshing drink...I used to drink Carling all the time but don't like it nowadays for some reason..I usually drink Guinness now mostly

The main reason people drink Carling (for me anyway), is that it's consistent. It's rotated more often due to how much it's drunk and you rarely, if ever get a flat pint. It has to be a pretty shocking pub to screw up a pint of Carling.

I won't drink Carling at home or if I'm going to a half decent pub / restaurant. An away day pub, 1000% Carling / Coors Light or bottles of Peroni.

At 3.8% I guess the people drinking it are those that can’t handle their drink.

It's a good job really because if people that can't handle it are going pint for pint in groups and drinking Premiums, it's going to be messy.

Nowadays the youth I see on trains for away days, most don't even drink beer. It's alcopops or dark fruits.

It's amazing how an inflated price and clever marketing fools people. Birra Nastro Azzurro/Peroni is pretty much regarded as Italy's Carling.
Whereas Tennents Super is overpriced and fashionable.
