City really should be ahead here , Stoke doing alot of nothing and we've looked the more dangerous .

We’ve had all the chances but haven’t really looked like scoring. Wouldn’t be surprised if this is 0-0 or 0-1.

An ok half. Stoke have controlled the game, but we have looked dangerous on the counter. Pretty boring though.

Sheaf our best player by a mile, poor Gyo is working hard enough but looks devoid of any confidence.

We did okay. A bit edgy. Back 3 look pretty solid and wingbacks have done well. Gyokeres just struggling to hold the ball. Nothing is going for him and he looks short of confidence. Allen looking most creative outlet. He is having to cover a lot of ground. Many wouldn't agree but I think some Tavares pace would cause problems.

Hamer having one of his better games, we look good at the back. Likely finish 0-0

Think Eccles looks nervy TBH, not sure where he’s supposed to be, poor first touch, scared to drive at them when he gets the chance. Has improved as the half went on.

Missing an AM massively, Allen and Shipley ain’t it. Shipley looks back to his old self in what’s supposed to be his best position. Still not impressed with Bidwell. Sheaf playing well, Györkeres feeding off long balls cos there’s no one showing in midfield.

Allen and Shipley off for O’Hare and Waghorn. I’d even be tempted to throw Dacosta on, OK maybe not.

It’s been ok. We don’t have a lot of quality through the middle but we are sticking at it

wing backs look like they will be vulnerable to pace - Stoke are the better passing team but aren’t offering much yet

we need 2 forwards on the pitch - nothing to lose and may be a game we scrape a needed win

A pretty drab first half which we have had the better of, criminal miss by Gyo.

This is nothing against Shipley but I'd swsp him for Waghorn second half i think we need some presence up front

He needs a partner to do his running and let him stick up top

Yea to me he's looked like he doesn't really want the ball , looks a bit on edge when he receives it .

I thought eccles did well. My only criticism of him would be that his crosses have been hard and low , but relatively easy for the keeper to sweep up. But it would also help if someone made a move to the near post to get on the end of one

Eccles nervy and a bit untidy but you can see the quality he has.

Sheaf and Hamer equal parts messy and great with the volleyed pass being a highlight.

Shipley trying stuff but doesn't hold onto the ball well enough for that position.

Gyokeres looks fired up / bullish, but missing that final bit of quality.

Not as exciting as the QPR game that's for sure. Stoke look tidy in possession but often a bit ponderous. We look the opposite really haha.

Don't think Shipley has done much wrong but need someone up closer to Gyökeres.
No but neither he or Allen are any good back to goal and feel that Waghorn and Allen pressing that Stoke back line, who have already looked shakey, will be the best way to get a result from this game.
