In all honesty i'd be happy with 1 Mill yes he's the best goalie in the Division blah blah blah but he's NOT going to sign for us he will then leave on a free.

Let's not get confused he's good, very good but definitely not irreplaceable.

I definatly agree with this.

Although i think Westwood should try and hold out for a side better than Wigan (if of course there is another team that want him), because chances are come August he will be back where he started. In the Championship.

If Wigan are willing to pay and give him a nice contract offer he might accept... but we would most probably be seing him in the championship next year.

Glazier, Blyth, Oggy and Westwood have been the outstanding 4 keepers of my Sky Blue supporting life; All quite brilliant match winners on their day; but in Glazier's case, he came through the divisions with a momentum driven Jimmy Hill wave of success. Blyth and Oggy played at the top once CCFC had established itself. I hope that Kieren stays and emulates Glazier and the others in his level of loyalty. I do not dislike or indeed mean to be disrespectful to Wigan, in fact i quite like DW and Martinez, but even on a good day when MUFC are the guests, crowds only reach about 17,000. surely, Westwood could never consider this as a good career move. It is far more likely that he remains with us until the end of the season, when Harry will come a knockin' for free!!!

Thinking about it, if it's not Wigan I reckon Westwood will stay. Why would any other Premier League club buy a second choice or even third choice 'keeper for £2mil when if they hang on they can get him for free. I say Wigan because I think he;d be their number one if he went there
