I still personally think we will finish about 10th 9th
Can't argue with that. Might get lucky and go higher but I expect similar. Fantastic progress though and should help us next season picking up stronger loans perhaps and the trust in Robins at the level.

Where will those 18 points put us?
Quite handy but will need something close to maximum if you look at the final 7 games.

If you include Middlesboro, we need 14 to 15 points from that run. Would take us to 54 / 55 points with 13 to play. would still need to win a minimum of 5 of the remaining games, with some draws.

Keep saying it but the squad is too thin and by the look of it another serious injury to Eccles.
Robins working miracles with what's at his disposal.

The man needs proper backing and this doesn’t mean giving him a small chunk of player sales. If we finish 10th on this expenditure imagine what it could be with a couple million more.

Missing two home games out of that for reasons out of my control. Can't wait for the others.

Probably the easiest run of teams we'll have all season but condensing them so much could be a problem. Equally if we take heart from tonight we could go on a roll and want t play every day.

Reading tickets should be announced soon too, need to snap some of those up.

Too late, we've already taken them all

I think we're turning a corner and the perfect time to have some slightly more favorable fixtures.

We'll need atleast 10 points from those games.

IF ( and yes thats a big if) we beat Boro on Saturday we'll be joint 7th with atleast 1 game in hand over the teams above us. If that doesn't get your sky blue balls tingling, I don't know what else to say.

Not sure about season defining.

But 20 games to go.

75 points generally gets you Play offs.
Although 72 could do it. Going by current points per game average.

35 points from 20 games is a tough ask. Cant be losing another 5.

Need to win 10. Draw 5 , lose 5.

At a push...Win 9...Draw 5...lose 6.

Going back to your point (January isnt over and theres a must not lose game vs Boro)..need to pick another 3 wins in February though and go unbeaten ideally in that month.

Hopefully the top teams keep smashing everyone and then you could sneak 6th on a few points lower. The same reward for 6th as 3rd, and you're in the lottery.

Can see us being a few points short as a really big ask think we have enough quality in squad then kick on even further next season to play offs.

With the way things are at the moment that run worries me. We were down to our 6/7th choice wing back on Tuesday. A couple of injuries in the earlier games there and it could really impact our run. More than a couple could be catastrophic. Really hoping we get a few back for soon!

It kind of is season defining…I was looking at our run of games and after Middlesbrough thought, “we should win all those”. Very unusual that I think that. Then I saw our run of games when we get to Blackburn. Christ. We could lose all of those.
If we’re going to get to the playoffs I’d say that final run of games, against the teams competing with us and above us is where it’s at.
Oh no, They’re all important!! It’s the hope that kills.

The league is full of games that don’t go to form or league position. Simply put if we’re not on our game on the day we won’t get away with it, if we are then we can cause anyone a problem.

I think you can only write off Fulham away, Mitrovic is basically a cheat code for the league, but the rest are all fair game.

You obviously left early then.
It was an horrendous tackle by Jagielka and should been a straight red. It happened directly in front of me and could have broken Eccles ankle.
Not sure about that. It was cynical and a definite yellow.
The under reaction from our bench should probably tell us that. The fact that Viveash didn’t get jagielka in a headlock or something speaks volumes.

I don't think the final few games will be as hard as people make out. Blues and Stokes seasons are finished already, Fulham will probably have won the league by that point. 4 tough games granted, but everyone chance one of those drops away by the time we play them.

Its definitely on but we'll need luck along the way.

We proved Tuesday we can win games against so called better teams should have won by three in my opinion and with a much changed team from the QPR game, which we shouldn’t have lost. To use an old football cliche take it a game at a time, we have proved we can and do compete and beat anyone in this division including Fulham. Now Hilsner has been shipped out an out of the blue acm loan would strengthen that

Robins literally said he had cramp. Jagielkas tackle wasn't that bad either
