I read an article today that said Burnley were being charged 9% interest on their loans.

Ours are more like 16% aren't they? Burnley must be a safer bet but in the main loans from owners seem to be at zero, or very low rates. Not ours....i understand why, just wish it were different

Others charge rents, management charges and salaries and actually take them

Some people will always find the negatives. Fair enough.

A few points.

Indirectly not owning our own stadium saved us millions in losses. Those who owned stadiums during covid...got fucked!
Granted SISU got lucky here.

Having debt isnt an issue!! Ffs every organisation has debt...and requires faculty to access debt!! How you service a debt is fundamental.

I wonder what the credit rating agency's would rate our debt at?.

As for assets fuck all at league 2 or league 1 level. We are in the championship now and I'd say established with players on contracts. Very saleable assets ...appreciating as we move further up the ladders.
