I thought he was great first half but anonymous second half. Possibly due to Southampton being on top of him, maybe that's why he's not pulling trees up at the minute as he's an obvious target to man mark

Those who don’t rate CoH are probably those who didn’t rate Sheaf/were convinced Robins was cancelling the signing.
Nope - rated Sheaf from the start because he’s quality.

Initially, I loved COH as well. I get why opposing fans see him in 1 game and think he’s quality - he runs around a lot, draws a few fouls, isn’t scared to get stuck in and wears his heart on his sleeve.

However, over time I’ve realised that he just isn’t good enough to be a starting CAM in a Championship side (any side for that matter). The things he doesn’t do - score goals, create big chances, act composed in front of goal, strike a ball harder than a 12-year old girl etc - are all detrimental flaws to have in an attacking midfielder

Problem is I just don’t know what position he can play. I don’t think it’s been invented yet. I think the best way to utilise him until we figure it out is off the bench last 15/20 minutes to chase tired legs.

Thought he did well yesterday BUT twice he was in down the right hand side and didn't know what to do. He was looking around almost waiting for a defender to foul him so he didn't have to decide. In the end he didn't pick out a man from a choice of two. This was the start of the second half I believe. Its moments like that where he's not improved and sadly don't think he will.

Interesting to compare COH to players in similar positions that have played for us in the Championship.

Difficult to compare as O’Hare is very definitely an attacking midfielder and not a winger which we haven’t had a lot of!

But I’d say he is/was better for City than Julian Joachim, Matt Jansen, Graham Barrett, Lloyd Dyer, Eddie Johnson, Neil Wood, Kevin Thornton, Craig Reid, Wayne Andrews, Chris Burchhall, Jay Tabb, Ellery Cairo, Zavon Hines, Carl Baker (), Michael Mcindoe, Rory O’Donovan and Alex Nimely.

I think David Bell in his pomp as good but sometime worse that O’Hare.

Only David Thompson a better player in COH position in my humble opinion.

None of the above had the same workfare, tenacity and sheer will as COH.

Only time will tell how good he’ll be but definitely one of the best attacking midfielders we’ve had at Championship level.

Quite a few of the above are strikers, you missed McSheffrey and Jordan Henderson, Chippo , Hutchinson, Gunnarsson

You messed up with your name as well, set up your account up when sheaf was getting slated, now hes class 😂. Doesn't have the same affect any more. Do better.
What? I made this account as a sort of joke, I rated Sheaf and could tell what a player he was at a time when most others were slating him every week.

Aren't you the clown who thinks Tavares should be rotting in the Under 23's for the next few years despite banging in goals for fun and our first team crying out for goalscorers? I'll take your opinion on anything with a pinch of salt.

Tbf, saying he's better than Roy O'Donovan and post-car crash Matt Jansen is damning with faint praise!

Being an attacker can also mean assists, making runs off the ball to create space. COH is a good player and scares the shit out of the opposition. he gets fouled in dangerous positions. It's not his fault that we don't have a 30 goal striker and not much quality when it comes to finishing throughout the team when those free kicks are awarded.

We have 23 goals among our strikers this season and yet have 1 from our attacking midfielder. Mcfadzean is outscoring all of our midfielders. The problem is midfielders not scoring enough

No I quoted our coaches who said he wasn't physically ready. And we don't need goal scorers we've got 2 on 10 goals.

Do better.
