Imagine my surprise

LOL, I may delete the thread as while the FB post is still there, the BBC Sounds clip they link to doesn't exist.... :/

If at last sisu have stopped trying then the new partnership with the insects will be peace in our time and maybe the next offer for the club they receive might lead somewhere away from sisu.

I'm guessing SISU asked for it to be dropped. It's one of the things Duggins and Eastwood kept saying needed to happen for a deal to be struck. With the speed the European Court work at they could've requested it a year ago and it's finally been rubber stamped.

I didn't think it could be stopped once it had been reported.....
Don't know how the EC court works but with UK courts claimants need to get their paperwork in and maybe pay a court fee by a certain date ahead of the trial for it to proceed
It's likely to similar at all courts so we probably didn't put in the necessary doc's so the case dies

They couldn't drop it but could ask for it to be dropped. The timescale for this was several months. Whereas it could've taken years for the court to pass a judgement/reach a decision. That's why I'm guessing It's been done through a request rather than a decision that's been made after going through the full process. Either way regardless of how it's come about, this is positive news that a line can be drawn and they can crack on working together.

So it was all bollocks then. I imagine this thread will have a few conspicuous absences.

It may well be SISU who are currently in control of the Club, but let’s not forget that it is CCFC as an entity that suffered.

CCFC, in my opinion, got shafted by the council in favour of Wasps. CCFC initially started the project and were given certain promises and there was a bone of contention about the supermarket deal. They ran out of money and pawned their share to a charity with a right to buy back and the rest is history.

I think both SISU and CCC showed themselves to be utterly contemptuous and disingenuous - as bad as each other.

Ultimately, CCFC has ended up losing out.

I, for one, won’t be gloating.

Does this pave the way to part owning lease at CBS and building training facilities at/with Warwick Uni??

Still don't trust CCC/Duggins.

With the events of the past few weeks I don't think him and the majority of the cabinet will an issue for much longer!
