Without actual net investment (1 Viewer)

We're likely to be in a relegation battle again next season, with such a heavy fixture list early season we can't go into it with such little depth to the squad especially given at least one of our best players will be sold this summer. The last few weeks has exposed this lack of depth

Well if they’ve got the cheek to hike up season ticket prices in the current financial climate, you’d hope there will be some investment wouldn’t you?? I won’t hold my breath though …..

It will be a fight to stay up next season. Assets will be sold and further deplete an already paper thin squad. Loans will return to their parent clubs and spurn any offers we make. We'll try to replace them with players like Waghorn, Bidwell, Hillsner, Da Costa etc. Doesn't look good.

Don’t think Luton are racking up much

And nor were we last season, watch where they end up next season, when they lose players because they’re not willing to smash their budget. You might get an decent season once a blue moon, but once you do you need to smash your wage structure to keep your better players, or start again trying to build from the bottom.

You probably don’t need owners jacking high interest loans on the club who don’t give the slightest toss how we perform

We absolutely need actual net investments next season

Otherwise we’ll get tired fetching the ball after goals go in

Lose on Saturday and they could be 11th. I wouldn’t consider them firmly in there. Speaking of which, when did Millwall sneak up the table

Millwall have hit form at the right time, I wouldn’t be surprised if they sneak into the playoffs.

Investment isn’t coming SISU will loan the club on high percentage returns as usual

To have a first 11 that improve on this season we need:

A CB + JCS
2 Wingbacks if we insist on playing 5 at the back, if not Kane/Dabo and Bidwell should suffice.
And a Striker/AM To replace Godden

On top of that we neee significant squad depth too.

It’s a lot of investment that SISU won’t stump up

The ideal scenario would be 2 Championship quality players per position with a few prospects from the Academy on top. As it is we have tied up more money in the League 1 core and offered expensive contracts to wing backs and an over the hill forward.

All while we still have Walker on the books who nobody will pay money for in the summer. The strategy was always reliant on Robins working wonders and even this season he’s been making a lot of errors by his own judgment.

If there’s any way of poaching Critchley from Blackpool I say do it
