Thorn sacked tonight

The yes man will not be sacked  you heard it here first

It will not costs us to get rid so no way he has at least ten games

I think you guys will agree that I have always supported Thorn and had quite an argument on here just a day or two ago about supporting him, but I must say that we need an experienced manager to take the helm. We are making the same mistakes as last season. Credit to the guy he has put a cracking squad together, but he just does not have the experience. I would be annoyed if he is not kept on as scout though. He certainly has a good eye for talent.

Basically, it's a rumour from twitter that Tim Fisher said in the Q&A session in the casino after the match that Thorn will be sacked this evening.

Is this one of those where someone guesses on the off-chance they can say 'told you so?'

Just heard that aswell, this adds fuel to my fire.

I can't see it happening. We have no-one to step in and take the helm. Who would want to saying that..

Does anyone here have a coaching badge? Haha

Someone tell me who would take over!?
We have no money to pay for a 'better' manager!
It's alright in saying Carsley in but, tell me how he is an improvement from Thorn?

I personaly would like to kick fisher in the head with the end of my size 11 steel toe cap boots.

A mate of mine has text me, Fisher incinuated that Thorn would be leaving tonight.

Maybe different formations, tactics, subs, motivational speech's etc

People are sighting thorns inexperience as his downfall... Yet can only suggest carsley taking his place?! The only person with even less experience! Good one.
We cannot and will not pay to bring a decent experienced manager in, that's a given. And even when we have, have they ever done that much better? Still unbeaten, and only 3 games into season. We can only get better.... I hope.

No, we can only draw. Not good enough.Maybe carsley and shaw could give it a go.

Or worse :( hope ur right tho

As proved in the Dagenham game, we clearly need to keep 0-0 til 90mins, then score a penalty, so then the opposition doesn't have a chance to equalise, Duhhh

We need a good manager, someone more experinced and less one dimensional.

if anyone thinks that Carsley and/or Shaw would do a better job than Thorn then they are deluded! when was the last time we had an experienced manager? we need an old head thats been there and done it some one whos managed in this league and had success

The OP also said today's game may be called off so I remain sceptical but prey it's true.

we have 2 coaches that used to be defenders + 1 goalkeeper + 1 defensive midfielder
greg abbot of carlisle, a cov supporter all his life, who also put his name up for the job before thorn got it
carsley, lack of experience but he's the sort of character to succeed as a manager
Shaun Dyche, did the impossible for watford last season, getting them into midtable with less money and a weaker squad than what thorn had. currently without a job and good manager
if sisu could afford to offload thorn, the cheapest but probably worst option would be carsley, although they can't even afford the rent so another pay off for a manager could be out of the question!

Last time we had an experienced manager was Aidy Boothroyd.
