Thought he had a couple of shitty moments but wasn't poor by any means

Thought both wingbacks were poor today TBH and the midfield two. Though my thoughts on Dabo might have been tinted by the c**t behind be who shouted DONKEY at him every time he touched the ball.

Do you watch that and think robins should go or that there is so much to be positive about?

I watch it thinking we need some additions. Also think we'd be in trouble if we lost Hamer/O'Hare/Gyökeres. We're close whilst also feeling a long way off. Ultimately we're a bottom half side who had a very strong start at the moment. Need improvements to make us a playoff contender.

It’s even worse than that. If you take the last 2 games and extrapolate it over a season that’s 46 points and probable relegation. We are in deep trouble

24 games is over half a season so is a more than reasonable sample size

You’re cherry picking to prove your point. A season is 46 games long, you can’t just discount games that prove you wrong. The problem is our squad size meaning we can’t keep levels up, but after a preseason we’ll be back to the start and unlikely to carry on like we are right now.

That was sweet in the end. Season is over so need to over analyze.

On a seperate note, not seen disorder like that outside for a good few years. Could of ended really badly, I saw 2 or 3 people almost knocked over as they ran across the A444

Atmosphere was rly good and it looked like more than 20k there. Glad we got that last min goal.

Disspaointing second half but may as well enjoy these moments. Tavares has to start coming on earlier now though

Playoffs nearly gone but we can enjoy being a decent championship side.

P.s bidwell excellent at lcb and hamer is class

First half we were great , second half not so great. Left when brererton diaz faked an injury so missed the goal. We are often bullied by these shithouse teams and we need to work out how to deal with it. When teams are aggressive we seem to disappear a bit

Had time to reflect on today. First half we were superb and they couldn’t handle us. They made two changes and bought on two quality players at this level. Before his injuries Dack was one of the best AM’s in the league.
They come out all guns blazing and we struggled to cope. But we kept fighting until the end. Subs wise I couldn’t see what Robins could have done really, every player was doing well overall. I thought Hamer was immense overall.
The referee was an utter disgrace and I wish someone properly smashed that Dutch twat at the back for them, he was a little pussy.
Disappointing result really given their horrific away away form but on balance of play today a fair result.
On a side note Rothwell for them is class, he’s also out of contract in the summer I believe…

I haven’t looked back through this thread but I assume based on previous match threads that Robins was hammered for not making a change. While it’s obvious we bossed the 1st half, Blackburn came out strong in the second and we struggled to contain them for a period. Irrespective of Robins, I felt like I trusted the players on the pitch enough to pull it around and they did get a foothold back in the game. I think the Tavares sub should’ve perhaps been made in response to them taking the lead but again. I can only think that Robins genuinely thought the players on the pitch would turn it around.

Yeah, a point isn’t good enough but this will embolden the already strong team spirit. Players sometimes have stormers, they sometimes they have mares, that’s football. I don’t think the team created either today but what I did see was a good first half and when under pressure in the second they showed character, they fought for each other and played hard to the final whistle.

Whatever happens in the remainder of the season, if we keep the team spirit, the battling and never say die attitude, I don’t think we can ask any more of them. Playoffs or mid table, I’m fucking proud of this squad and the manager

Play offs ver 4 games ago but still a great season, thinks bidwells best position L.S CH looks comfortable there and would have rose centre of the 3.thought godden looked out of sorts in front of goal and wasteful today, hamer is on his game right now and could of scored a couple.overall it's been a fun season and a bit of it left so bring it on.

What happened?

Bit of nonsense and goading behind the police on the car park as per, city fans then ushered under the subway to opposite side of a444. Just a bit of goading and missile throwing then it appeared a lone city fan was being given a hiding and it went off. A load of cov ran across the road, some proper near misses. There was a good 5 mins of both sets of fans having a right go at each other. Police lost control completely.

Robins would have been better to have had a shit start to the season as it raised everyone’s expectations too high. Most fans on here thought we’d not improved the squad after last year and would be in a relegation battle!

Well we’re not and we’re still moving forward

It’s one thing that’s annoyed me this season. Teams getting success from pure gamesmanship. I don’t mind skilful play taking the ball to the corner or passing it and making teams chase but diving on the floor, staying down, remonstrating every free kick and standing on the ball

There’s lots of things wrong with the game but one of the biggest is time wasting and it needs a solution rather than we should do it too and we don’t do the dark arts shit.

Still can’t get over the keeper being allowed to lie on the floor pretending to be injured first half

My thoughts on today,

If we'd got a 2nd I think we'd have won by 3 or 4, they looked devoid but we let them back into it due to a total lack of composure in the final 3rd and it's sort of been the story of the season.
'CanI have your shirt' placards now reached epidemic proportions, get it to fuck, its embarrassing.
Lost all respect for Mowbray today, what a bunch of cunts that team are.
Ref- wank.
The goalkeeper going down in the fitst half was the worst for me, Godden should have taken the throw and made the ref have to stop the game, i think he'd have thought twice about it.

I think the correct decision would have been a yellow card for feigning injury. He clearly wasn’t injured

They got their karma however Pete, we did give it to them right at the death. That must be worth something and certainly put a smile on my face.

Yeah if he just took it the ref would have had to stop the game, it wasn't a head injury.
