Surprised at Hamer ratings, thought he was class today, first half especially pushed Gyorkeres for MotM I thought. Allen worked hard, Bidwell better at LCB again. 7s all round for me with Hamer and Gyorkeres 8s

Really surprised by the ratings so far.

Bidwell was superb today. About as good a defensive performance from anyone this season. How is he getting 7’s? He’s been shocking but was a 9 today.

Hamer as well!. Ran the most meters out of anyone today and won possession back so many times, he was an absolute terrier.

The rest were all good / at least ok. Just switched off twice as a team but a good battling performance all round. What a difference from last season. Very proud of Robins and the lads.

You are bang on re. Bidwell but there are some on here who wouldn’t give him more than a 7 if he scored a hat-trick.

Agree. Some people's ratings are so predictable and based on whether or not they like the player.

Moore 6 - no chance with the goals
Dabo 6 - struggled second half
Maasten 6 - poor for much of the game but I really liked his effort and perseverance and he was really good towards the end
Rose 6 - didn't look totally fit
Hyam 7 - steady
Bidwell 9 - clearly our motm
Hamer 8 - excellent again
Allen 7 - great first half but saw less of him second
O'Hare 7 - some if his passing first half was sublime
Gyokeres 6 - I thought he was pretty poor for most of the match but extra point for the goal
Godden 7 - lively throughout

Tavares 7 - another bright cameo

Just didn’t think anyone was outstanding today. Bidwell MOTM, a revelation at CB, Györkeres gets a point for the goal, Godden played one of his better games I think.

First half excellent second half couldn't string any passes together..I used to like Blackburn bit after todays shocking cheating fouling time wasting they can go fuck themselves... Referee was an absolutely useless turd and bottle job although he did happen to get the penalty decision right....probably by accident

Him and Allen just didn’t impose themselves enough for me. So many times when players were looking for an out ball from the back and they were nowhere to be seen.

Weren't bad today at all. First half was good. Struggled to deal with them in the first part of second half. The whole magical Diaz story annoys me. Blackburn bought him for just under 10M, of course he should be good but the media male it seem like he's come from nowhere. Think from 65 mins to the end we were the better side again and thoroughly deserved at least the draw.

Moore 7 (no chance with goals. Distribution good)

Dabo 7 (some sloppy passing but crossing much better, including the assist)

Rose 7 (steady)

Hyam 7 (steady)

Bidwell 8 (some great headers and blocks)

Maatsen 6 (kept going but lost the ball far too frequently)

Allen 8 (some nice link up play, great through ball to Godden's penalty shout. Raced back into right back position 6 mins into injury time to prevent Hedges from keeping the ball in corner. Phenomenal work-rate again)

Hamer 8 motm (most of the moments of quality came from him. Unlucky with curling shot that hit the post. Some decent defensive work too)

O'Hare 6 (busy as usual but passing poor)

Godden 7 (linked play well and some important defensive headers)

Gyokeres 8 (kept defenders busy throughout, some great link up play and out-muscled defense for goal)

Tavares 7 (little time on the pitch but nice touch to O'Hare, ruled offside, and then involved in goal)
