I'm often critical of the EPL, but watching Kane and Son when theyre on song is an absolute pleasure.
I hope they start putting some medals in the trophy cabinet soon, they really deserve it, though it might not happen at Spurs.

If that was the other way round and in the box would they have given it as a penalty? In my mind there is no way they would have. Not having it as a foul. If anything Varane pushed Iheanacho first.

If it had been United attacking and it was in the box definitely a penalty but no way Leicester would have got one.

He's nowhere near the level of our other midfield options.
In what respect ? He's one of the most inform midfielders in the Premier league with 20 goal involvements in the last 22 games .. 12 goals 8 assists and plays in a worse team than the others.

His stats over the last 4 seasons don't back up your claim

How’s he got 12 goals if he’s only scored 8 in the league this year?

In the prem goal contributions in the last 4 years

12 in 27
15 in 31
9 in 31
14 in 36

Hardly setting the world alight for their star player and number 10…

Saying he's " nowhere near the level " of the other midfielders is nonsense

Grealish is having a poor season for starters , gets picked

How are they not good stats?

I’ve just found the stats Evo is referring to and it’s 20 goal contributions in 22 starts. But the goal contributions are counted from when he was a sub so the stat is totally wrong.

Actually Im wrong , listening to stats on twitter so looked up myself ..

It's 17 goal involvements in his last 24 matches in all competitions

And it's 11 goal involvements in his last 15 prem games

Still very good and in great form

He's at a similar level (probably slightly below the likes of Foden) and at a less fashionable club that isn't quite up there in terms of dominating games. Would I drop the current attacking players for him? No. But I'd put him in the back-ups with the likes of Saka, Mount, Smith-Rowe and Sancho.

There was a point when I felt his set-pieces would get him in the squad, but Ward-Prowse is on another level (though wouldn't it be nice to have two free-kick takers of that quality in reserve?)

There is the argument that his personality works against him, which may well be a factor, but the fact is if Maddison played for an Arsenal or Man U, he gets picked for England. If he'd been more involved with the U21 set-up when he was younger, he'd most likely get picked as well. Those are now bigger hindrances to his international prospects than anything else.

Everton have better individual players but Burnley have been there before. It would be hilarious to see Everton relegated.
