Ofcourse , won us promotion with his goals , has scored 18 goals in 45 games at this level .. definitely worth his contract .

I believe his contract will expire when he's 33 .
Not many clubs would release a 1 in 2 striker pretty much , unless they believe they are lost causes ..

STP - I actually rate Isak quite well, but he is a totally different type of player to Gyökeres. Kulusevski may have also appeared earlier than Viktor but his performances for Sweden haven't been that good by any means.
They have a couple of half-decent players, but it isn't like Gyökeres is going to have to dislodge Mbappe and Benzema. By international standard they really aren't very good at all.

Of course he deserves a contract! When he plays he scores, he is just injured for 40% of the season but somehow still scores us at least 10 a year
