Because of the season we've had our better players will be in the shop window.
Why? As long as he stays relatively injury free he is a good player to have in the squad. Positionally the best we have as a holding / defensive midfielder.

The game today is pretty much a hallmark for the season. Start well, have multiple chances and then concede.
O'Hare had a really good chance to equalise at 1-0 but hit it straight at the keeper.
We need to vary our play a little bit when we play against teams that can defend well aerially. I think that's why there was the clamour for Tavares earlier this season, for that something different in and around the box rather than a hopeful ball in to Gyokeres.
It's going to be a tough season next season as I suspect we will lose Gyokeres and Hamer, on top of that we will need to replace players on loan maatsen and Clarke-salter. I think we need another attacking midfield to come in and challenge/rotate with O'Hare when he's tired or out of form.

Can't disagree with that, question is how we reinvest the money into the squad if and when we sell one of/all of Gyo/CAH/Hamer

I'm not sure it is. I think most, if not all, of us would like that. It can always get worse though - it wouldn't guarantee that things would improve.
It is only helpful being involved in 90% of the play if you do anything constructive with it.

I’ve read the term embarrassing a lot this match thread aimed at individual players, the defence, the midfield and attack. Most fans on here are embarrassing. Now we have, we are going to be worse next season, this is the best it’ll get etc etc. Since Robbins came back we have improved season on season and there is still no belief that he can do it again next year. Most fans on here have no faith in our manager. You read this forum and you would be mistaken it’s a Blues forum, where the fans have something to moan about. This has been a great season and I don’t see any reason that next season won’t be any better. I will make my judgement when I see what players we hold onto and who we bring in. Most are making their judgement of next season based on nothing. I’m not embarrassed about any of our players, we have had a great and most importantly an entertaining season. Feel free to have a go at me, I couldn’t care.
