Isn't that Mbappe's contract up at the end of the season? Free transfer, pacey, young - fits the model imo. He'd be mad to turn down a route into English football.

I see Di’Shon Bernard who we were linked with on loan last season who’s currently at Hull is now linked with West Ham

In true FM style

“Arsenal have rejected Coventry’s loan offer for Eddie Nketia. They would like Nketia to play with a higher standard of player”

and/or

“Eddie Nketia has no intention of joining Coventry on loan. He does not believe the club’s ambitions match his own”.
I had that in my FM save so I just signed Dane Scarlett on loan for 4 seasons straight then on a permanent when we got to the premier league… not realistic I know 🙂

Hopefully we pick up some good quality top league one players with the potential to step up and take a few of the better relegated players from Barnsley etc to strengthen our squad

Who was the big winger at Cardiff that came on as sub and ripped us a new one?

If we miss out by three points that's the one that got away. Their keeper should have been sent off, plus they cancelled the match when we were flying.
We Weren’t exactly flying. We hadn’t played in 15 days and that was a draw at huddersfield , and 7 days before that we lost at home to wba

That draw at Huddersfield, we had played them off the park though! If I remember right I also think Cardiff were not in a great place at the time. Nevertheless there are plenty of games that felt lost opportunities at the time. Stand out ones for me were away at Barnsley and Derby at home, when Godden had a second goal disallowed that would I'm sure have seen us home.

The volume of points we picked up right at the death probably outweighs or is equal to the amount we missed out on in games like those.

For the amount of points we’re likely to miss the top 6 by it does make you wonder what might have been with stronger financial backing.
