I see Glen Owens colleagues are rallying around because he’s the real victim in the Angela Rayner Basic Instinct story.

The toolmaker also paid his fees at his private school
You can keep saying that and it still isn't true. You can keep missing the fact he passed his eleven plus to go there, and when he went there it was a school like Lawrence Sheriff, picking the brightest.

It changed to a fee paying school while he was there

And he was exempt from fees as he got in under the 11+, so why would his father be paying anything?

The fact is it’s a private school and was for most of his time there.

At least he seems to admit it and enjoy his re-unions with celebrity alumni unlike certain high profile socialists

He didn't pay any fees. Which bit of this are you struggling with?

Im not. He benefitted from selective private education. Doubt he’s be there if he was in a secondary modern / comp dump would you?

John McDonnell never paid for his £36,000 a year boarding school either

Clearly you are struggling with it. Quite badly it seems.

You said he paid fees.

He.didn't.pay.any.fees.

Hope that helps.

“John McDonnell” 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂

Quick point out Diane Abbott is shit at maths before you really lose the argument.

😂😂😂😂😂

“all politicians should come from non selective schools” is certainly a take.

I didn’t say he did.

Still I guess poor Sir Smarmer (shamefully borrowed) rubbing shoulders with posh alumni shaped him to the man he is

One who laughs at strikers who live in some place called Coventry

Have you had 14 pints again?

well it seems you that’s having trouble reading

Many real labour party members have an issue with Sir Smarmer - as evidenced that many northern voters didn’t want him

Real labour voters on this forum have major concerns as well

Given your whole time on here is spent linking twitter items accompanied by some sound bite it’s ironic but I guess not surprising you want no discussion on anything

Many labour voters share the concern I am referring to - do you deny that

What are you rambling on about.

Many Labour voters have concerns about Keir Starmer - is this supposed to be some stunning revelation? Of course they do. Plenty like him too.

Many Tory voters have concerns about Johnson, many like him. What's your point?

Pretending you didn't say things you clearly did. Pissed as a fart at 9am.

Hopefully Dim will lose his seat at the next election. He’s been turning it into a Lib Dem seat as long as he’s sat in it. Only just got elected in 2019. Struggle to see how he’ll survive the next GE.

Anyone who has an issue on here you label Corbyn fans

I think l asked you name anything positive about Starmer

you answered something along the lines of “he’s not a Tory” all tories are “cap doffers” and when you really need to get into a bit of a detailed analysis you produce what I believe is a Harry Enfield “Tory boy” GIf

It’s not exactly Brian Walden type of political debate on here is it

Stop windmilling.

Just admit you made a tit of yourself over Starmer's school fees and we can move on.

More Labour members don’t have an issue with him as he won the leadership election easily.

More Labour voters don’t have an issue as he’s polling ahead of every other party.

But yes: man can’t please all the people all of the time. Call the press.

@shmmeee You laugh, but can you seriously say that policy is what decides elections?

I didn’t say that. I’m laughing that someone who’s main issues were the pronunciation of Coventry and that Labours position on schools during the pandemic didn’t match the most militant of unions is complaining others don’t care about policy over fluff.

You know a Labour government would be closer than a Tory one on pretty much every policy issue you care about. Yet you still pretend it wouldn’t.

I think getting closest to voter concerns and being credible is what wins elections, not naval gazing about whether every member of a party is having their personal needs met. I think generally voters are risk averse and party members would do well to understand that when trying to get elected just looking for the votes of party members isn’t a winning strategy.

Where did I say those were my main priorities? The last time education unions went on national strike was years ago. The unions were right to flag that schools are infection hotspots and there was little thought put in to the consequences of reopening them. Smarmer laughing at the profession with Johnson felt pretty insulting.

Labour policy was immensely popular in 2017-we didn’t win. In fact each and every time an election comes around the public prefer Labour policy but the Tories have won the last 4 in a row. Because policy is not the main driving factor in how most people vote.

Individual Labour policies were popular. Labours manifesto as a whole wasn’t.
