Personally I think Sheaf (in his own right) is just as good / valuable as Gykores / Ohare and Hamer.
I know he has suffered an injury and faces some time out but maybe it’s a good thing he is going under the radar a bit

He's going to be an absolute monster next season. Give Badlan all the shit you want about the signings from abroad but when we signed Sheaf he came out with all the stats and data to back up the Sheaf signing and he was spot on.

Yep. For me that is the spine of the team I would like to build from.

Just need to add at least one defensive name to that list to give us a real spine to the team.

Tbh there’s only one I would get rid of if the right money came in and that’s gyokores, only because strikers are hit and miss some times rather well Jim now get 10m than wait a season he don’t perform as well and loses most his value.

Very good player but wouldn’t be as valuable as Gyokeres. A target man who scores, teams would be willing to pay a premium for that. We’ll soon find out though as there might be bids for all of them this summer

Yea I think gyokores is probably the easiest to replace aswell, not many players have hamers ability and desire and heart, not many players has ohares stamina and sheaf well he has so much potential. No hating on swede though he is a amazing player and if he stays and kicks on then I will be amazed and happy.

Replacing 17 goals and a relentless force like he is is far from easy - you can adjust and especially regarding hamer

I was saying he’s the most valuable and therefore probably hardest to replace. If robins hadn’t played him through his injury I reckon he’d have got 20 goals this season, add that to his all round play and you just don’t get too many of those players around

I expect I'm going to be in the minority here, but I don't think Sheaf is anywhere near on the level of the other three.

Of course he has a lot of potential and I'm sure he'll improve, but someone said on another thread he's worth 5 million and I personally think that's bonkers at this very moment.

I tried singing it to Head, shoulders, knees and toes, but don't think it will catch on.

He needs to be more consistent. I've said it before, he has spells where he's head and shoulders the best midfielder on the pitch but its too patchy.
I'd aim that criticism at Hamer as well. There was as spell against Fulham where they were taking the piss out of the run away league leaders but they've got to do it more often.

We had the debate at home about which we would sell assuming at least ine definitely going. Concluded that they're all important to the cause and so basically whichever one we can generate the most cash from as long as a good chunk is made available for Robins to use on strengthening.

Read Earlsdon loyal sky blues post in the Vik to Fulham thread.
Interesting perspective on things.

Thx just have and us interesting. My best hope is that it's a prem club not a Norwich type as we could sell and get back on a season long loan.

He was not , he was not aware of his surroundings last season and got caught in possession pretty much every time, he is far more aware now although sometimes he still gets caught.
The stats tell a different story completely.

You're seeing what you want and have created a narrative that he's improved when he's been doing the exact same thing.

Not at all 😂, please feel free to go back to when we signed him and you will see the praise I gave him and the talent he possessed, anyone who has actually attended more than 10 games a season can see he has improved 10 fold since last season now hop off and stop trying to put words into my mouth when I have only said good things about the majority of our players tbh I don’t think I have hated in anyone in our current squad, oh apart feom

Anybody that understands football could see it last season.

Stats - the thing that we've used t build a squad and playing style that has taken us from league 2 to the top half of the championship - can confirm

He had a chronic back problem which he tried to play through
I helieve it was eventually discovered he'd cracked a bone somewhere and it was only when he finally rested it that he regained full mobility

Sheaf for me was unlucky rather than bad last season. When he made a mistake it was punished - every time. He made no less mistakes than Kelly for instance but Kelly was bailed Out
