Tbf although he's not been great, we would have likely been in a situation where we were starting the likes of Howley and Tavares every week when we had that spate of injuries in Feb.

Not the best decision but certainly not the end of the world as any fee would have been nominal I would expect...

6 figures plus his wages, enough to pursue a temporary upgrade at AM

Happy to play out the 1-1 for top half now. Bottom half would be very disappointing.

Was it 6 figures up front? How much are his wages? And who was available on loan for those figures?

Very easy to say we could replace him, and I'm sure if the above was an option with a better player available Robins would have done it. He's hardly been one for sentiment in his time here.

Shipley was all set to go, hadn’t featured much at all up to that point, has 2 good games and that suddenly means we don’t want to sell. Then he again goes back to being pretty ineffectual and featuring rarely

At the time Maatsen was expected to be out for longer than he eventually was & Shipley filled in well at LWB. Having been burned a little by the Tyler Walker deal with Godden immediately getting injured I can understand the hesitance.
Looked better at LWB never used there
I’m sure he doesn’t even watch the game and just says whatever sounds right
I knew Kane had highlights Clive I reckon you done them for him

I don't disagree with any of that. And I have said already that it wasn't the best decision but it isn't the worst decision ever made as it has ultimately served a purpose. You are making statements about some imaginary loan, like everybody who works at the club won't have considered all the options.

Didn’t say it was terrible just it didn’t work out for the player or the club
